DIY Analog Synthesizer Demo

video by wuukaa

"🎹 It's my Монофоникс !

This analog synthesizer is my first big project, it still has lots of things yo work on (unstable tune, noise module, MIDI2CV, ...) I made all the PCBs(manufactured by JLCPCB) and the case myself, just have to work on the labelling of each pots, becausee it looks like a kids project lol :)

On this demo I used my trusty power supply to feed the volage in the CV input of the 2 VCO because my MIDI to CV board is reeeally bad (I suck at coding lol). So the gate signal was always on which makes the enveloppes completely useless in this setup but don't worry I'll try to fix that later on!

And if you can help me with the code of the MIDI to CV I'd be really greatful because mine is pure shi* :3"

Yo can find a demo of one here.

"Electron Echo Vintage Mini Piano PianoTronic Vintage Pocket Keyboard Synth. Comes with original box, songbook and plastic holder/case. New batteries inside and appears to work however seems a lot lower volume than I remember these being. Not certain but I think it should be louder. No volume control, though. "

Harumio 1529

Note the Prophet-4.

"シンセファンに捧ぐYO-KAI Disco
たまにはYMO以外もやってみます。YMOファンの方もぜひ聞いてみてください。
機材紹介にCOCOA(東風の動画で使った自作シンセ)を入れ忘れました。シーケンス(Lchのピコピコ)担当です。
機材紹介パートは速読 or 一時停止推奨ですがそもそもたいしたこと書いてないので見逃してもらっても大丈夫です。"

Googlish: "YO-KAI Disco dedicated to synth fans
Sometimes I try other than YMO. If you are a YMO fan, please do not hesitate to ask.
I forgot to include COCOA (the self-made synth used in the Dongfeng video) in the equipment introduction. I am in charge of the sequence (Lch picopico).
The equipment introduction part is recommended for speed reading or pausing, but since it doesn't write much in the first place, it's okay if you miss it."

A Quick Note on Supporting MATRIXSYNTH

Hi everyone! I just wanted to put up a quick post on supporting MATRIXSYNTH. As you know, running the site can be quite a bit of work. 185 SUPERBOOTH18 posts so far and counting! Every single post you see on the site including all links are created manually by hand. There is no automation. Yesterday we had a total of 100 posts! That isn't the record BTW. The record was actually 117 on Jan 30 2014 (don't click unless your system and bandwidth can handle it!).

That said, every bit of support helps. If you enjoy the site and would like to contribute here's how (please see 4 and 5 below - they are free!):

1a. Support the site for as little as $1 a month via PayPal or Patreon via the links on Support Page here. Supporters do get some perks, including links in posts.

1b. If you are a content creator on Patreon yourself, support the site for $1 a month and I will include your Patreon links in any content that goes up. Currently I support you by posting your content. I skip links because at an average of 30+ posts a day, seven days a week, believe it or not, they do add up. Like everyone else out there, I do have other responsibilities, and I do have to prioritize my time. I figure if I am already supporting yo, and you do not think a link to your Patreon in posts will eventually earn you a $1 a month, then there is no reason for me to include them.

3. If you are a shop or manufacturer, consider a banner on the right. Email matrixsynth@gmail.com for details. If you cannot afford a banner, consider becoming a supporter of the site per above. I will not think you are cheap. :) Becoming a supporter will get you links and it will help the site.

4. If you buy synths on eBay use the links at the bottom of each post and the Useful Links section on the right within 24 hours of bidding.

5. Spread the word on MATRIXSYNTH. Link to the site and share posts you find here on your social channels. The more you can point to the site as a great resource for Everything Synth, the more it helps.

And that's it! Thank you for your time. :) And please note, MATRIXSYNTH will always be free. The support just helps ensure the site will continue on.

DUO JAMS: Squarp Pyramid, Sub37, Minilogue, TR-8 and more

Published on Jul 9, 2017 MR TUNA Music

"Jared came over and we had some good jams. The camera has got some borderline unforgivable frame rate issues and goes out of sync by the 2 minute mark, but that's the way it goes... you're here for the music anyways, right?? Starts off with some Minilogue and Eventide Space we record into Squarp Pyramid with the beating heart of the TR8 to guide us, then it's bass in yo face from Sub37, and we skitter about some more keys after that but its long and painful so just keep that in mind. if it looks like we're not playing, IT'S THE GODDAMN FRAME RATE! FUCK!"

Building on the experimental format of previous years, Moogfest continues to integrate Future Sound (performances) and Future Thought (conference) programming, with many of these artists also leading sessions during the daytime conference program.

Moogfest’s trademark mix of intimate venues and masterful collaborations creates an unforgettable experience festival-goers will not find anywhere else. This year returns with adventurous formats such as live film scores, an overnight live music sleep concert, prelude to sleep listening parties, long-form durational performances, and presentations by leading Instrument Designers.
