Dr. Böhm Digi Music 80ies Digital Drums Patterns and Variations

video upload by umusic6

"Check out the punchy and crunchy patterns of this ultra rare, compact 12 bit Sample Drum Machine, like the Linn Drum.
Additional bass in the intro by Behringer Pro-1.
This was actually a DIY kit offered in the 80ies. Samples are stored on two ROM chips.
Each Pattern has 3 variations which even have different Fills, Breaks, Solos. So, besides not programmable, lots of patterns to discover."

Sakata Hammond DPM-48 Pitch mod demo

video upload by umusic6

"This mod hacks each voices sample clock by using a NE555 based clock on a small pcb yhat replaces the provide clocks for the 4040 counters of each voice.
The results make this machine so much more versatile.
Still have to do this for all other voices and add knobs to the surface."

Crumar Bit 99 with Tauntek Firmware Upgrade Midi CC Control & Sakata DPM 48

"Roland Promars, freshly repaired and calibrated. Dry sounds with no FX. Going quickly through the 8 hardwired presets, then the 8 user-presets of mine, then into manual mode. What a great raw analog sound."

Oberheim Matrix-1000 Through Roland GP-8 with Stereoping Controller - Awesome Chorus

video upload by umusic6

"Running an already great Matrix 1000 String sound thru the Roland GP-8 with just Delay and Chorus activated.
Quite a nice digital (!) Chorus with unusual additional Predelay and Feedback parameters.
As well as a basic but good sounding digital delay.
Everything running through Lexicon 300 Large Hall at the end of the chain."

Korg Polysix Unison Mod

video upload by umusic6

"Applied this easy mod to my Polysix: http://synthhacker.blogspot.com/2013/....
Thanks to Thorsten for the idea and hint.

Gives control of the detune amount which is originally fixed to 220Ohm. So Unison can now be controlling from very harsh to heavily detuned.
Since i don't like drilling holes in those vintage gear, I sacrificed the Chord Mode Input on the back, where a simple pot with fastener can nicely be fitted."
