Published on Oct 11, 2015 Stotz Daniel Philipp

"The Arturia Beatstep Pro has 2 idependent CV- and Gate outputs. Here they are used for 2 sequences on the modular synth. It is an alternative to the expensive hardware sequencers, but not that flexible."

Published on Oct 11, 2015 Synth Anatomy

"Subscribe the channel if you like to see more videos about Synthesizer Software, Hardware and IOS

This is the first video about Strobe 2, the new release of Fxpansion. This second version of Strobe Synthesizer which was released initially in the DCAM Synth Squad bring a lot of new features and fresh new GUI.

Normally, if someone present you the sounds of a new Synthesizer, he will show you Bass and Leads sounds but here I want to show that the power of Strobe 2 is also available in other ways such as modular sounds. This modular sounds are deep and a rich of modulation activity.

"Strobe2 is a software polysynth which puts diverse new sounds effortlessly within your reach. It builds on the original's realistic analogue modelling and deep but intuitive synthesis with a slew of enhancements and requested features. Highlights include a stunning effects section, revamped arpeggiator, deeper modulation processing, preset-morphing, randomizing and a scalable vector interface for retina and 4K displays."

With over 900 Presets, Strobe 2 offers you a lot of pre-designed patches ready to play.

Map FV-1
VF-1 card is the first card girl for The Triko. It brings the echo and reverb effects. Mixing a digital heart very musical and analog routing, it provides even greater dimension Triko.

Echo: Compared with a venerable tape echo (Space Echo), we have successfully implemented in the VF-1 algorithms and modulations that bring us close to his model: the modulation Tape recording is a real wow his model. Thanks to the adjustment of the amplitude modulation and speed, you can simulate tape echoes in perfect condition as copies at very tired capstan: D. Reinjection allows up to self-oscillation and even beyond. In mode 0, filtering occurs on repetition to approach the changes of timbre obtained on his illustrious model. A second virtual playhead whose period is half that of the main head ends enrich this emulation. A "Ping Pong" mode and a "Clean" mode are also available.

The reverberations: Our objective was not to offer the finest and most complex reverb sets. We're not able;) But we worked on ergonomics, musicality and originality of the reverberations produced: filtering, modulation, pre-delay feedback and allow visitors to explore the original reverberation universe with simplified settings .
FV-1 does not allow to have both features simultaneously."

Akai Tom Cat Vs Rhythm Wolf

Published on Oct 9, 2015 NAB622

"Side by side comparison of the Tom Cat and Rhythm Wolf.

I like them both, but if I had to choose just one, the Tom Cat is the clear winner for me."

Update:

Akai Rhythm Wolf vs Arturia Drumbrute

Published on Feb 20, 2017

"In this round we pit the other Akai animal, the Rhythm Wolf, against the new comer the Arturia Drumbrute. Peak levels have been matched with appropriate room for gain during tweaking of the drum parameters. The Rhythm Wolf will play for one bar, then the Drumbrute will play a bar. I hope this helps you in choosing the best analog drum machine for your studio."

Akai Tom Cat vs. Korg Volca Beats

Published on Oct 10, 2015 HardtekStudios

"The new Akai Tom Cat and Korg Volca Beats are a well suited match against each other. Both have analog Kick, Snare, Hat & Tom sounds. The Beats has even more sounds from PCM samples, but the Cat has a much more feature rich sequencer. The Beats is a great portable machine, while the Cat has a lot more pro features. When it comes down to it though, each person must deicide for themselves which one is better for them. Thanks for Watching!"
