"One of the legendary synthesizers from Roland. Being unique from its microprocessor control, it uses an Intel 808 processor to control all its analog functions such as the VCO, VCF and VCA.

This piece of unit has 10 presets and 10 programmable patches. It comes with great sounding presets such as the bass, organ, string, trumpet, sax and more.

The ProMars comes with two oscillators, unlike the Jupiter 4, giving you more flexibility and functions in designing the sounds. Also feature nice VCF and LFOs."

Hands On: Plugin Boutique Virtual CZ - Phase Distortion Synthesizer

Published on Nov 5, 2015 Synth Anatomy

"Plugin Boutique Virtual CZ is a phase distortion Synthesizer based on the Casio CZ Hardware Synthesizer.

Virtual CZ recreates the unique synthesis engine of the CZ synths
(it models the flagship CZ-1 but does all the other ones too!). The plugin works as a SYSEX editor/librarian for all CZ hardware as well as an emulation. It has 2 Phase Distortion oscillators per voice
(each has 8 wave shapes, which can be different for alternate cycles) and 6 loopable envelope generators per voice
(switchable between easy-to-use ADSR and powerful 8-Stage MSEG mode). A Ring Modulation and Noise Modulation and
32 voice polyphonic/mono/legato modes. And a lot of more

This is the first video showing you the souding of this CZ Emulation and personally I must say, it's sounds great and coming very near to the real CZ Hardware Synthesizer.

Live jam Electribe Sampler 2, Volca, Mopho, Microbrute, Nord Lead Techhouse "Iceland Part 2"

Published on Nov 5, 2015 Shimanski Beats

"'Iceland Part 2': Hardware techhouse live jam with Electribe Sampler 2, DSI Mopho, Korg Volca Bass, Arturia Microbrute and Clavia Nord Lead 2x.
In Summer I posted a synth/wave track called "Iceland Part 1" with footage from a trip to the countryside of Iceland The present hardware jam is the second part of this series, this time less wave, more techhouse, but lots of Iceland footage.

Electribe Sampler plays drums and serves as hardware sequencer for Mopho (bass), Microbrute (lead sequence) and Volca Bass (rhythm sequence with fifth). None of the internal sequencers used because the Electribe gives way more options and allows for longer patterns. The Nord Lead is played live with keyboard split (left side pad, right side FM-tremolo-lead)

External FX: Lexicon MX 200, Alesis Quadraverb 2 , Alesis Midiverb 3 and Line 6 Pod."
