"First things first, there is nothing wrong with presets. Many very talented people spend a lot of time creating them and they can sound great and very inspirational... but the fun is always in creating your own :D.

I set myself the task of no more than 1 minute to get to a very different sound than the one I started with.

I have been asked a few times to show more of the Access Virus, so here it is. If your looking for a good low budget hyper flexible synth, for the current price its gold. You can have the Virus B currently for around $500usd or less! I paid $600AUD for mine, super cheap. Maybe not as cool and hip as the Virus TI's but very very close in sound quality and still some very flexible features.

From a time where Blue LED's were still considered new, exciting and a pretty neat idea on anything :D"

"This is a very rare Nomad Rhythm Maker 12 drum machine.

Beautiful warm sound.

The machine has 12 different presets. You can also combine a couple of presets but pressing both buttons together.
There’s tempo, tone and volume control.

In the back there’s a 1/4” output jack as well as an input for a foot switch (not included) to start and stop the rhythms.

The last photo is taken from Joe Mansfield’s book about vintage drum machines where the Nomad is featured.

The drum machine seems to be in good working condition. Some of the presets are slightly odd - the Cha Cha and the Mambo seem to be playing the same beat, the Waltz and the Slow Rock seem to be quite minimal.

The start button is occasionally acting out and not starting the rhythm immediately but if that happens, I just depress and press again and it’s working fine.

Cosmetically, there’s some wear here and there - light scuffs, marks and a couple of small wood chips. Overall it is in nice vintage condition.
