"Mods (via circuit bent interface):
1x program selector rotary switch
3x program rotary switches (3x bend points each) with LED Indicators.
2x program connector switches (to link program rotaries) with LED Indicators.
1x A/B switch (with momentary or lockable option).
3x additional rotary banks (10x bend points each)
2x rotary bank connector switches.
-----

Only the patches in Bank B are subject to the circuit bent interface. Bank A has been filled with gorgeous analog synth sounds via sysex patching. Bank C is the domain of the external memory card (not demonstrated).

In this demo I am sending a single unit of MIDI (mostly an arpeggiated sequence) through several different preset patches, which are then manipulated via the circuit bent interface. The D-110 is a multi-timbral unit but having demonstared several D-110's multi-timbrally in previous demo's, I chose to operate just a single MIDI channel this time around.
-----

The Circuit Bent Interface Design:
Select one of three programs (indivated by yellow, red and green LED's). This selection activates the first rotary bank (which can be extended to three via connector switches).

In addition, programs can be linked via two connecting switches to further deepen the synthesis. The A/B switch will over-ride any existing bend configuration and is offered as either a momentary or lockable option. There are a few other little circuit tricks too, resulting in countless circuit bent configurations.

The overall interface design encourages intuitive bend to bend manipulation and allows the user to relocate favourite bend points with relative ease."

Live Jam #58 - Slow random melodic base / drums - Akai apc key25, Eurorack, Doepfer a156 quantizer

Published on Nov 2, 2016 Monotrail

"Unfold for more info! -
This jam is mainly based on a single random baseline I really liked on my eurorack system. Added a simple arpeggio, some chords and drums to spice it up.

Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/monotrailmusic

Patch discription (ish)
The Doepfer a156 dual quantizer is fed by the random voltage from the a118, plus some offset from Triatt. It is tuning the pitch of one of the 143-4's oscillators. That square out is filter by the wasp filter and passed on to the Intellijel Linix. The trigger out of the a156 is triggering the a171-2. That envelope opens up the vca for the main voice on the linix. There are two slow lfo's from the 143-4. One is modulating the wasp, the others opens op another vca on the linix wich passes through further cv modulation to the wasp. That modulation cv is a mult of the triangle mix out from the doepfer a143-4. Another mult of that signal is going to the cv up and down of the a171-2.

Stuff used:
Arturia Beatstep Pro, Akai APC key 25, Plugiator, Mocrokorg and Eurorack modular system with:

Doepfer: a-118, a-119, a-124, a-143-4, a-148, a-156, a-160-2, a171-2
Intellijel: Dixie II, uFold, Quadra, 2xTriat , Linux, mult
Make noise: MMG, Lxd
Mutable instruments: Clouds, Peaks
MFB: Dual LFO
Synthrotek: Echo, Deluxe power
Diy: Quad attenuator

Audio via the Behringer mixer to a Moto Ultralite MK3 hybrid.
External effects: T.C electronics M350 for reverb"

Nord Drum 2 - poly synth sequence patches

"Once again using the Audiothingies Midibro in dispatcher mode to spread a polyphonic sequence from the Arturia Keystep across the six channels of the Nord Drum 2. Effects added in the Elektron Octatrack (apologies for any distortion - I was driving the OT input channels a little hard!)"

Sounds like a Nord Lead.

Two Protosynth V1 + the original Protosynth, dubbed on top of previously recorded improvisation.

Published on Nov 2, 2016 Konstantin T

"Some experimental craziness on my protosynths. Please, dont mind the chaotic merging of one part into the next, it was total live experimenting. Two protosynth V1 + the original protosynth recorded and merged on top of a previously recorded improvisation. Processed by some effects on the PC side. Sound madness to the out there."
