"This is the rarest of the JoMoX "Base" drum synths. This 1U rack drum synth has all of the same bass drum and snare drum Analog components of the XBase 09 and Airbase 99 units but the sample section has awesome percussion samples that are unique to this unit. Don't miss the chance to own one of these extremely rare drum synthesizers! Unit comes with original JoMoX power supply. Use buy it now and I'll throw in a brand new dual midi cable and a brand new pro stereo 1/4" audio cable. Accepting offers, but due to the rarity, I'm not planning on moving much!"

"In great condition considering it's age. Works flawlessly and sounds awesome. Has all of the original knobs. Has some slight blemishes in the orange paint if you look very closely (paint finish is known to be fragile on older Waldorf synths). This is the original 10 voice version. Comes with newer power supply."

Electro Lobotomy Sonic Architecture Lab V. 1

You can find video of one here.

"one of the original versions of the Electro Lobotomy "Sonic Architecture Lab" but I'm now in post-graduate school mode and need to sell large chunks of my gear. This thing is great for noiseniks, exercises in industrial esotericism, and goth dungeons. Connect it to a delay pedal or reverb and a whole slew of insane noises are at your finger tips.

From electro lobotomy:

-2 independent QUAD NAND GATE synths, 8 oscillators total. ( 4 red knobs on top left and top right )
- Power starve for each nand gate synth. ( middle left and middle right red knobs )
- Global power starve knob ( chicken head knob on front of case )
- Banana jack patch bay in the center ( 5 outs and 5 ins for each nand synth )
- Mixer section, volume for each nand synth ( white knobs top center )
- 4 attenuators with ins and outs ( 4 red knobs along the bottom, 2 in each nand synth section )
- White Led's for each synth section
- 1/4" output jack
- DC jack ( tip = negative )

As you can see in the pictures, one of the edge has a nick in, but that's merely cosmetic and does not affect functionality. Included are a generic 9v adapter, 6 banana cables for patching this baby, and the 9v battery connector should you prefer to use batteries in place of a wall outlet. Brand new one of these will set you back $200, I'm starting the bidding low, so get after it. :)"

How to learn Yamaha DX7 Synthesizer - Tutorial: FM Synthesis Sound Design Tub Bells Part 1

Published on Dec 8, 2016 Power DX7

"This is a second tutorial of the FM synthesis tutorial series that I’m planning. As I need to cater for a wider audience, I decided to create this ‘how to’ tutorial series from the very beginning, starting from the very basics of the FM synthesis and Yamaha DX7 synthesizer.

I will use the famous Tub Bells patch as an example for the FM sound design process. I will take you through the DX7 FM parameters, including Algorithm, Feedback and Oscillator. The reason why I picked the famous Tub Bells patch is that it is one of my favourite (and I'm sure a lot of people like the iconic DX7 sound), and it is one of the easiest patch to explain how the FM synthesis works to beginners and new comers to the DX7 and FM synthesis. Initially I will focus on analysing the famous Tub Bells patch, then I will going into improving the famous sound using Priority Parameters."
