New Møffenzeef Mødular Deviant Eurorack Module

Deviant Demø Published on Dec 10, 2016 Møffenzeef Mødular

via Møffenzeef Mødular

"IF YØU ARE LØØKING FØR A CLEAN STEPPED RANDØM STØP READING NØW. THIS MØDULE WAS DESIGNED WITH THE INTENTIØN ØF FØRCING ØTHER MØDULES TØ SØUND LIKE GARBAGE.

When triggered, the Deviant øutputs a randøm vøltage between the ranges set by Tøp and Bøttøm knøbs respectively (-5v tø 5v). Bøth Tøp and Bøttøm have bipølar CV inputs, alløwing the user tø mødulate the windøw øf vøltages. Tø cøntinue in the Møffenzeef ethøs øf kraptastik electrønics, there is nøt a søphisticated DAC (digital tø analøg cønverter) øn the øutput øf the Deviant. Instead, a simple pulse-width mødulated løwpass filter is cøntrølled by the “Smøøth” knøb alløwing the user tø dial in the amøunt øf nøise, and the øverall slew øf the øutput. The design relies heavily øn the gnarly søund øf the PWM (pulse width mødulatiøn) carrier frequency emitted frøm the brain øf the mødule which injects itself intø whatever yøu plug the Deviant intø. When plugged intø parameters expecting hard edges (a la Specimen øn GMØ) the Deviant will make the target glitch subtly which adds krispidy krunchidy klix n' pøps. If plugged intø an audiø rate søurce like a VCØ ør VCF, the carrier frequency gives the target a mild timbral shift reminiscent øf ring mød.

*THIS MØDULE PAIRS NICELY WITH DRUM MØDULES WHERE THE USER WANTS TØ DIAL IN SUBTLE VARIATIØNS IN TIMBRE UPØN EACH TRIGGERING ØF THE DRUM."

"Boomstar Tonestar Glamsynther

Re-gifted/re-sequenced 3003 Boomstar riff: Studio-electronics – 3003-tight-arpeggia-morphfu

Tonestar handles the rest, apart from the periodic Sensei Hybrid chime, kick and hats.

Our MIDI 3 makes the DP9 sequencing rubber meet the road—and the Tonestar2600."

MF2 DIY Delay/Reverb with built in VCO

http://ewajustka.tumblr.com/?soc_src=mail&soc_trk=ma

The MF2 is super versatile audio synth or effect pedal, perfect for noise musicians as well doomcore lovers AS WELL AS FOR NORMAL PEOPLE who play guitars. or sing. not sure what normal people do.

It is a developed version of the MF1 Delay/Reverb pedal

It contains double PT2399 (double delay, double reverb), you can choose how much delay/reverb you want (basically wet/dry) and you can decide if you want to use both delays or one.

It also contains built in VCO with a clock also built in, you can choose if you want to use the internal clock but you can also use an external trigger/cv signal to control vco, which than can be fed into delay units. It also contains noise push button for extra feedback amount."

You can find the MF2 on Etsy here.

Runaway Melody: Library Modular Pt. 5

All parts here.

"This is my newest improvisation on the modular synthesizer at the Lawrence Public Library. For processing, I was tweaking a Eventide PitchFactor off screen. I also cheated a bit at the end and added some convolution reverb to fade the song away :) Link to high quality download: https://soundcloud.com/user-249275247..."

Exploring The Original R.A. MOOG Modular Synthesizer System

Published on Dec 10, 2016 Reverb.com

"In the world of synthesizers and electronic music at large, Bob Moog is a giant. His creations and his brand have become the standard by which all synthesizers are judged. In the late 1960's, R.A. Moog created their infamous modular synthesizer and with it, electronic music history was changed. When Mike Borish heard that Roosevelt University in Chicago had one of these monolithic synths sitting in disrepair, he had to fix it up and get it sequencing once again. And so he did, and Reverb was lucky enough to sit down with Mike and the Moog Modular to hear some crazy sounds. Read more about the Moog Modular at http://bit.ly/2hqGw90"

Leap : Moog Minimoog Model D Reissue

Published on Dec 10, 2016 100 Things I Do

"It finally is mine! No more lusting over second hand MiniMoog's for the rest of my life!

As most people will know mid this year Moog put this amazing monster back into production (unfortunatly killing the Voyager in the process). How is it... as good if not better than the original. It has a better keyboard mech, nice new features delivered via discrete mods, added LFO and best of all new components and Warrantee! Plus is cheaper than a lot of Second Hand minimoogs on the market!

The track is a collection of sounds I liked, 100% recorded only using the MiniMoog then organised . The Eventide Black Hole makes a return as the reverb of choice (as I always say, an almost instrument in itsself). I hope you enjoy :D"
