Drumbrute Keystep Microbrute JX-03 TR-8 Volca FM

Published on Dec 21, 2016 sprunging for voltage

"Time for a synthy slow jam. The Drumbrute is more 'background' as I have the audio out going to the audio input of the lead Microbrute which is also passing thru a few different pedals. Kick-2 on the Drumbrute is individually out to the main mixer. The TR-8 is more "foreground" and the Keystep is playing the JX-03. The Volca FM (off camera) is in the beginning of the tune, and in a few other spots. A little past halfway I switch on the SQ-1 which always brings the Microbrute(s) to life! Recorded stereo out of the Mackie mixer into Ableton after going thru a 3630 comp. Good times..."

Broken Beats 6 (Arturia Drumbrute Swing Glitch)

Published on Dec 21, 2016 HardtekStudios

"In the latest chapter of the Broken Beats saga, I take advantage of a glitch in the Drumbrute, where any instruments using swing will slightly go out of rhythm whenever I use the Looper/Roller. So I use it a LOT! Pay attention to the Hats & Clap as they have the most drastic & obvious effect."

Improvisation LXXIV: Prophet '08 Carillon Patch

Published on Dec 21, 2016 Sacred Synthesis

"This is only a simple and an admittedly rough musical sample of the carillon patch I recently designed on the Prophet '08. It's the hardest patch I've ever worked with, in that it's sensitive to the slightest imperfections in your playing. Hence, the unevenness. Ah well.

The reed-like melody is played on the Poly Evolver Keyboard.

Instrumentation:
DSI Prophet '08 Keyboard (2)
DSI Prophet '08 Module
DSI Poly Evolver Keyboard
DSI Poly Evolver Rack
DSI Evolver Desktop
Hammond XPK 200L Pedalboard

Effects:
Lexicon MX300 for reverb

Juno 6/OB-6/TR-606/Bigsky - Tape Trigger

Published on Dec 21, 2016 Jae Ryan

"I recently parted ways with my Juno 106 in order to pick up a Juno 6. This is the first track I've done with it. In this video the 606 is triggering both the arpeggiators on the Juno and OB6 via the tom triggers. I'm still not back in my studio space so the shitty lo-fi videos continue but when I do get back I'm gonna do some videos demoing the trigger in thaven't showed off yet. Recorded on a Tuscan 464 with a Strymon Bigsky in stereo on the Juno6!"
