Moog Memorymoog in EX condition

"For sale is this all original Memorymoog in excellent condition. It has thoroughly been gone over by Eagle Audio in Atlanta to ensure all components are working. All voices, filters, oscillators, patches, knobs, and buttons work as they should. The keys are in great shape although the face of some the knobs have residual foam from sitting in the case. This is simply cosmetic and does not effect their operation. This unit comes with a fully padded Anvil hardshell case. Sorry, no-midi."

"Digital" in that it had DCO's (digitally control oscillators) instead of VCOs (voltage controlled oscillators). It was first produced in 1978.

Polivoks Featured in Franz Ferdinand's Lucid Dreams?

Uploaded on Feb 4, 2009 Cameron Meldrum

This one came in on the AH email list as an example of the Polivoks sound, specifically the filter. 4:40 on is worth a listen to get a feel for the synth. According to the poster: "Sounds mostly LP setting for the bassline throughout, but a BP sweep at 4:40 layering into LP output panning around in stereo. You definitely want to wear headphones on this one"

I don't own a Polivoks but I of course have heard plenty of demos, and I do have an Industrial Music Electronics, Harvestman Polivoks eurorack filter and it definitely goes there. See the demo by Dave Skipper below. This is one of my favorite aggressive filters. It and the Frostwave Resonator (based on the early KORG MS20 filter), can strip the paint off of walls with a bit of resonance.

General video description from YouTube:
"This is the official album version of track 10 from Franz Ferdinand's third album: 'Tonight: Franz Ferdinand'. You can buy the album from iTunes here: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/ton..."

Volca Keys + Volca FM

Published on Dec 31, 2016 Alba Ecstasy

"Small keys, beautiful sounds! It is not a secret anymore, for many of us, that the Volca series sounds very nice even they're packed in such small boxes with such tiny keys and tiny knobs. What are these, synths for ants?! I bet if ants could play keyboards, would be very delighted to have them!
...
Yeah, I had some fun this morning with Volca Keys and Volca FM and I kept the mood: still, today is ending a very bad year, right?! Let's be happy about that!
...
Volca Keys is in UNISON mode and play a little sequence, and is getting the reverb from MI Clouds.
Volca FM plays a pad I made a few weeks ago and I used Roland Demora for delay. Also is sending time clock to Volca Keys - a really useful thing, to set the Keys on an exactly BPM!

I wish all of you a Happy New Year and may all your wishes comes true in 2017!
