Blake Angelos from Yamaha demonstrates the MX88 Music Synthesizer at Kraft Music.

The Yamaha MX88 synthesizer is compact and lightweight with over 1000 voices from the Motif series. The MX series' class compliant USB audio and MIDI interface allows seamless plug-and-play operation with Mac, PC, and iOS devices. MX synths can unlock even more sound creation possibilities with FM Essential, a free FM synthesizer app for iOS. Other features include Virtual Circuit Modeling effects, 128 notes of polyphony, and DAW Remote function for software control directly from the MX88's front panel.

The MX series is available with a 88-note, 61-note or 49-note touch-sensitive keyboard.

"Just picked up the amazing and seemingly limitless #SquarpPyramid hardware sequencer, and I've spent the day only scratching the surface of what this incredible machine has to offer. Here's a quick jam I put together with the little I've learned so far. Roland TR-8 starts us off with a beat, then I use the Pyramid pads to play a line on the Volca FM, before switching over to Minilogue and eventually getting a little JU-06 before I can't figure out what to do next. I am still working through a lot of the complexities of the unit but I was too excited not to do a little jam. Let me know if you have any questions about the PYRAMID!"
