INHALT Prophet 6 Artist Bank Demo

Published on Oct 21, 2017 INHALTVIDEO

Anyone recognize the intro? :)

"Instant download here:
http://bit.ly/Prophet6

A demonstration of some of the 100 patches and sequences we've created for this very special INHALT Artist Sound Bank for the Dave Smith Instruments / Sequential Prophet 6 Analog Synth. Absolutely no additional FX were used, what you hear are the raw patches on the Prophet 6. These are brand new sounds and not the ones that were used on the factory bank for the Prophet 6. The patch bank is a direct download from our Big Cartel store (link above)."

VCS 3 - Mad Professor Moment

Published on Oct 21, 2017 100 Things I Do

"The VCS 3 is quite often referred to as having the look of a scientific instrument. I guess in some ways it makes sense as EMS were explorers of sound and high technology at the time.

I decided to do something different from drones or sound effects this week so here's the outcome.

I first created sounds I liked then arranged the audio into something that had some kind of progression/musical sense to it. It has that 60's electronic music vibe and a bit more exploratory than maybe something you would put on your stereo for a quiet evening at home!"

ANA2 Obie Pad

Published on Oct 21, 2017 BluffMunkey

"Quick ANA2 Oberheim(y) pad test. For some reason Camtasia glitched the audio on export. I have uploaded it to Soundcloud (which also b0rked it, predictably) but you can download the original 24/48 there."

Soulsby Atmegatron Song - Sink's Theme

Published on Oct 21, 2017 Oscillator Sink

"I arrived home a few nights ago with a chord progression stuck in my head. It had a definite 8-bit vibe to it, so what better synth than the amazing Soulsby Atmegatron to use it with!

Everything you hear (including the drums) is coming from the Atmegatron using its 'default' firmware. Very little processing has been applied during mixing - basically nothing more than rolling some bottom end off a few sounds, so it's pretty much Raw Atmegatron you're hearing!

I hope you enjoy it - I had a blast composing and recording it!

The visualisation is done with the excellent "PrettyScope" from SoundMote: https://www.soundemote.com/prettyscope

Escape with the Korg Polysix Rhodes Yamaha DX11 Eurorack

Published on Oct 21, 2017 DJ Peeb

"Lovely chords from the Yamaha DX11 with some midrange sound from the Korg Polysix which turns into a deep rumble with sprinkles of the Rhodes mk1. The Yami and Rhodes were run into the Euro rig with clouds doing it's thing masterfully. All with lashings of verb from the Lexicon MPX110, Roland RE501, Strymon Blue Sky and then Logic's Space Designer."

"Conservatory composer, Robert Coburn, and guest artist, composer/performer Todd Barton, will present a rare performance of new works for custom electronic instruments designed and built by the Dutch musician Rob Hordijk. Hordijk's instruments capture a warm, natural sound unique in the world of electronic music, while balancing performer control with the surprises of a subtly chaotic system."

Hope to see some of you in a venue near you!

All best wishes, Todd
