You can find the order form on Auxren's website here. Note the order is for the PCBs only, not the case as pictured. A Koryo Williamson said he will post STEP and STL files for the cases. See this post for additional details on Google's NSynth Super.

Elgam ES 2000 - Rare Synth Demo

Published on May 9, 2016 Synthetology

"This is probably the only demo about this synth.
Elgam was an Italian brand active during the Seventies. They mostly made electric organs. The ES 2000 is an exception, probably made just before the company closed (1982).

It is a very basic synth with one single oscillator capable of generating square/sawtooth waves. There are no controls for the oscillator because it is a preset synth with 15 different sounds (with funny names like Piano, Flute, Guitar, Oboe, Violin , etc...). The presets buttons modify the settings of the oscillator and maybe some EQ settings.

The player has access to the filter (non resonant): cutoff and envelope amount. There is one envelope (ADSR) for the filter and the volume. There is the portamento slider. There is the vibrato (LFO) with amplitude and rate sliders and one button to add some delay to the inset of the vibrato. That's all.

It isn't a synth with many features but it has a nice vintage sound.
In this video I played it dry or with some effects from my Novation X-Station (reverb, delay, chorus).
With one oscillator+chorus it is possible to obtain kind of a detuned fat sound."

Paia FATMAN analog synthesizer DEMO 2018

Published on Mar 15, 2018

The PAiA Fatman is a great intro to DIY.

"Demonstration of the Paia FATMAN analog synth.
All sounds from the FATMAN.
The sounds are dry or with effects (Novation X-Station).
A loop pedal was used too.
Enjoy"

The “C=MM² red” Commodore Music Maker Sexy Upgrade

Published on Mar 6, 2018 Perifractic's Retro Recipes

Note the above is a 2 part playlist. You can skip ahead using the player controls on bottom.

For those that want to build your own, you can find the parts list on Perifractic's Retro Recipes YouTube description here.

Part 1:
🕹 After seeing a beautiful piece of Akai kit called the “MPK mini red”, I realized I could recreate its look without taking up more space on my desk. And so v2 of the Commodore Music Maker (“CMM”) was born. I call it the “C=MM² red”, but you can just call it bloody sexy. Who needs E=MC² when you have C=MM². (Rhetorical question.)

Part 2:
Let’s finish my 'C=MM² red', record a new chiptune from it & make SID scream!
📀 OWN BOTH TRACKS NOW:
- All current and new Patreons (even at $1!) get access to their own shiny download link to own the full track PLUS a bonus polished ‘radio edit’ with sparkly percussion & echo added. So that’s 2 tracks for as little as 50¢ each.
- Better still as this video has no ads they also help support this retrochannel to hopefully keep bringing you content, so thank you!
- I’m very proud with how my original little SID song turned out! I hope it brings you joy.

Haven't seen this one before. Unfortunately this is the only shot included in the listing.

"Blue-Eyed" Korg Polysix - recently restored, with MIDI and a Synth Cat

"A rather familiar bass-line. I'm just testing a newly-repaired Korg Polysix. This is playing in unison mode, although with only five ganged voices. No effects other than a small amount of reverb."

"Sadly, something has to give. Too much kit in my life!

This is a 1982 Korg Polysix in excellent condition. It's been fully restored within the past two years, and is in really good cosmetic condition. If you're looking here, you know the specifications already, so no need for copypasta here.

Work done:

Old NiCad battery replaced with a brand-new NiMH battery. Not a lithium cell. The CPU card was blissfully unharmed by the usual battery leak problems that these get - check the photos.
The power supply transformer has been replaced with a super quiet, efficient toroidal unit, capable of running at 220V as well as 110V.
One VCF chip - an SSM2044 - was replaced with a brand-new old stock item.
Synth was completely recalibrated and tuned and is working perfectly.
A Tauntek MIDI input board was fitted. This really enhances the machine by allowing MIDI note in, as well as syncing the arpeggiator clock over MIDI.

Yes, I changed out the LEDs for blue ones, while replacing some scratchy, worn pots. Series resistors were recalculated to dial back the intensity. It's not as piercing as in the photos. Will take some more pics soon. I think they really match the panel decals well, by YMMV. I'm happy to change them back to generic red (or anything, really) for the lucky buyer."

No, it does not appear that the cat is included.

Jomox T-Resonator w/PS SN 2008-0243

"One used (1) Jomox T-Resonator with Power Supply..... the 'T' stands for Time.

The T-Resonator transforms timely events into an analog feedbacked filter network.

You can select 8 different delay algorithms, each with different delays and different feedbacks and modulate them even with an LFO. Delays reach from less than a millisecond to 1 second, range and structure is depending on the algorithm. The sine LFO gets retriggered by the audio signal and can be shaped with the audio envelope or just run alone. In center position the amount is 0, to the left it's envelope-shaped LFO, to the right it's only LFO.

The filters are made from discreet parts and form a 24 dB pole lowpass filter transistor cascade. They can -be self feedbacked and be coupled or feedbacked with each other, so that extreme sounds and chaotic states create - all what you need today for creative analog sound design.

Incredible bass gains or screaming scratch sounds are no problem. IN FACT THESE CAN BLOW YOUR SPEAKERS IF YOU DON'T WATCH WHAT YOU'RE DOING,

The input has an adjustable gain and a Hi-Z input to plug in a guitar directly. Any line level signal can be processed, be it either mono or stereo.

Specifications
-Stereo OR Mono In
-Stereo Out
-Envelope follower with LFO
-2 filters
-2 delay lines /chorus /reverb
-8 Algorithms
-Positive feedback loops
-Cross feedback
-FM feedback"
