Transposing Sequences

Published on May 23, 2018 MAKEN0ISE

"Transposition of a sequence in the world of voltage control is nothing more than adding a voltage offset to the sequence voltage. This can be done with addition, in other words summing, in other words mixing, as in a MATHS, but if your VCO has a dedicated Exponential FM input then you don’t even need a mixer."

"This module turns any incoming signal into a series of 5 pulses. Each pulse can be inverted or positive and have its amplitude set. the Pulse width can be controlled by CV. A different kind of resonator.

Each has CV and pot controlled pulse width and the pulse for each can be set to be negative going or positive at any desired amplitude. The circuit is supposed to be driven by a signal from a VCO, but noise or chaos sorces are fun too. It creates five pulses that can be individually manipulated to create a complex and harmonically rich waveform. A slower clock signal will give clicks and glitches (so, a voltage controlled glitch module).
As the pulse widths can be individually controlled (or controlled en masse by “CV all”), this waveform can be continually morphed to get new sounds. When the 5 pulses are quite thin the effect is that of a resonator. The controls allow a wide pulse width, so fatter, thicker sounds can also be created.

Super-JX PWM Multitrack

Published on May 23, 2018 Joakim Floke

"In this track I only used my MKS-70 for sounds except for drums.
It's been modified with Vecovens PWM-boards and flashmodule.
The sounds here are almost all based on PWM. No EQ has been used and just some reverb was added on some parts. Hope you like it and if you have any questions, just ask them."

Winter Modular - Eloquencer *FIRST PATCH*

Published on May 23, 2018 DivKidVideo

"I'll have more in depth coverage coming with Future Music Magazine on their YouTube channel and in the magazine itself very soon but I just wanted to share my 'first patch' here with you all. It's a fairly simple 6 part drum sequence and entirely randomly generated synth line. We've got ratchets, probability over gates, probability over ratchets, shuffle, quantization. It's really quick to get some more comprehensive parts together, which is always a nice surprise with the bigger more complex sequencers."
