"Hello everybody! I recorded this live so you get to see how it was made. It's kind of a tutorial but instead of explaining I just show you. Scroll down for more details. It's very simple so there is not much variation except for the transposition of the sequences.

First I program a melody into the sequencer. 00:30 Add delay. 00:40 Add Valhalla Shimmer reverb. 00:46 transpose the sequence. 01:05 Trying to find matching notes to add in to the sequencer on the second M32. 01:30 Adjusting the tempo 01:40 Adding Crystallizer effect. 01:50 adding reverb. After that I just play around with the knobs. 05:50 replace the sequence on the second mother 32 because it was getting boring.

The synths are hooked up to FL Studio via Scarlett 2i2 audio interface to their own individual FX tracks to give me more control over the sound. Mainly the reverb wetness.
VST effects used: Tal Dub Delay 2, Valhalla Shimmer & Soundtoys Crystallizer."

Moog Sub-Harmonicon: Filter

"This is just the Filter. The sequencer section is triggering envelopes into the resonant filter and VCA. Notice the VCOs and SUBs are turned down (off) in the mixer section. The Filter Resonance is turned all the way up.

Using one of the Sub Harmonic Generators to modulate the filter cutoff allows the VCO of that Sub Harmonic Generator to influence the sound as well."

Effects: Roland Demora, Clouds, Slate Neunaber, Zoom MS-70CDR.
I was very upset during this recording to find out at 3:28 that the VCA envelope slider is dirty. After this session I cleaned it up (also the frequency slider - grrrr) with isopropyl alcohol and now works fine, it's only sliding faster than the other sliders, so I have to find a silicone based vaseline to slow it down.

Update: I thought this was a build of the Syncussion SY1 clone by The Human Comparator, maker of the TTSH ARP 2600 clone. Apparently it isn't. It's a new clone by PsyCo X. Note this is the first PsyCo X post on the site.
