Synclavier V V2 - Resynthesis and Patch Creation

Published on Oct 27, 2018 100 Things I Do

"One of the things I am interested in adding to my hardware Synclavier is the Mono sampling option.

This and a processor upgrade will allow me to do sound resynthesis and Timbre frames. I started to look into this at the start of the year but as I was planning my trip to Europe it just was not possible at the time. Just over a month ago Arturia released the free upgrade of Synclavier V which not only brought sampling but the full resynthesis option! First of all.. to get this kind of upgrade for something I paid for 3 years ago is astounding!.. Thanks Arturia! What great times we live in for sound creation :D"

Revolution Vol 2 - DSI Prophet REV 2 - 1 to 30 - GEOSynths.com

Published on Oct 27, 2018 GEOSynths

"Back with Volume 2 for the fantastic Prophet REV 2. It's been well over a year since I made Vol 1 and have returned to it to make the very best patches I can.

With this in mind, I've decided to make only Stacked or Split Patches, all from scratch and from the front Panel. Obviously, making only Layers and Splits, is twice the work, so will take time to release."

The Unocist

Published on Oct 26, 2018 Robin Rimbaud-Scanner

"Described by the press as one of the most traumatising experiences modern media could deliver, The Unocist comes to your screens very soon. Terrifying, shocking and surreal in equal measure, The Unocist stars Uno from IK Multimedia in a battle to the death with synth eating zombies. Who can say which shall conquer? We can only say that your nights will be stirred by visions as yet unimagined, your days fraught with a compulsion to check around every corner, under every desk and bed. Ultimately, The Unocist is a story about the perils (psychological and physical!) of our own obsessive minds and the subcultures in which we dwell.

With many thanks to IK Multimedia for the generous gift of the Uno Synth. All sounds were produced entirely with the synth, and only the occasional Ableton Zombie plugin."

Mental ACID (Drumbrute Impact, Avalon Bassline)

"If you like my stuff please support me on http://music.ollilab.com/ and https://www.patreon.com/theBURG

!!! WARNING WARNING 133bpm WARNING !!! :-D

So, I got the Arturia Drumbrute Impact the other day which I am planning tol use in a very special project. However, given that the team on hardware jams on FB had an ACID challenge this weekend.. i though, what the heck, lets do a 4 minute mental squarebass ACID mayhem :D

Gear used: Drumbrute Impact (tape delay from Strymon el cap), Avalon Bassline (delay and reverb from elektron A4). Kaoss PAD kp3+ (not in frame) for some extra delays here and there.

I am pushing the gear hard, almost to the level of clipping on the main mixer.. this combined with the overdrive in the impact creates some really rich harmonics and saturation.

BooOooM!

I hope you will enjoy it, haha :D"
