Mrseri uO_c Micro Ornament & Crime

Published on Nov 26, 2018 Perfect Circuit

"The mrseri uO_c is a micro 8hp version of the Ornament & Crime multi function module. This module has many modes including sequencers, shift registers, quantizers, envelope generators and more. We used four of the modes in this video.

The Intellijel Planar is used for sequencing, the Dixie II and Rubicon 2 as oscillators, for filters we used the Morgasmatron and Joranalogue Filter 8, and the Strymon Magneto adds delay and reverb.

uO_c available here: https://www.perfectcircuit.com/mrseri..."

"The mrseri uO_c is a compact, and stylish take on the open-source Ornament & Crime multi-function module. Using just four trigger/gate inputs, four CV inputs, two encoders and menu up/down buttons, the uO_c accomplishes a huge number of complex modulation tasks. Using its simple menu, a user can easily get the uO_c to function as a quantized shift register, quad envelope generator, quadrature LFO, quad 16-step sequencer, chord sequencer, and even an 8-bit sound source! From a utility standpoint, the uO_c is also invaluable for its precision voltage generation mode, which is essential when calibrating other modules. Ornament & Crime truly is a module which amplifies the capabilities of every module around it, leaving many users to wonder how they ever patched without one.

"This listing is for one Tama Techstar TS-305, an analog drum synth module that features six independent voices (bass, snare, rim and 3 toms). It can be triggered either via drum pad, voltage gate or audio. Unit has some scratches here and there but ultimately works great."

You can find demos of the 305 in the archives here.

"This listing is for one Tama Techstar TS-202, an analog drum synth module that features two independent voices (snare and a rim). It can be triggered either via drum pad, voltage gate or audio. Unit has some scratches here and there but ultimately works great. Power LED is blue (worth mentioning I suppose)."

I believe this is the first TS-202 to be featured. It might look familiar, but you are likely mistaking it for the TS-204 as seen here.

Via the seller's description: "Here is an ARP Pro Soloist that I have personally serviced and calibrated. I have replaced all electrolytic capacitors including all of the tantalum capacitors which are known to cause serious problems. This thing should be good to go for years to come!

I have also replaced the 4 faders on the left with custom LED faders as well as an LED transpose switch (curtesy of SYNTH CHASER)

Last but not least I replaced the touch sensor that sits under the keys allowing you to use all the aftertouch effects. The one that was in there initially was on its last legs.

This thing should play like new for a LONG time."
