VERMONA 14 - Analog Synthesizer Sounds 【SYNTH DEMO】

Published on Feb 22, 2019 synth4ever

"With circuits adapted from the PERfourMER MKII and Mono Lancet ’15, the '14 was built with stability and musicality in mind, with special attention given to approachability and stellar sound quality.

The '14 Analog synthesizer is a classic subtractive synth: a beefy lowpass filter shapes the sound of the two powerful analog oscillators. Like Vermona's other analog synth options, the sound is markedly warm and round, demanding attention and adapting smoothly to a variety of genres.

It has 2 VCOs (sine, saw, rectangle), mixer, LPF filter (12, 18 and 24 db), 2 envelopes (ADSR), LFO (saw up, saw down, square, triangle, sine, S&H), VCO Modulation,, arpeggiator, MIDI and various other features.

In this demo I showcase some sounds from the Vermona 14 including noise type patches, sample & hold, arpeggiator, LFO tweaking and more. The Vermona 14 is a very high quality subtractive analog monosynth with great sounds and capabilities."

"NHK 600 Here Information Section Special from "This is a synthesizer" from.

Mr. Akiro Kamio as a prefix of "Dream Jam Session" explains the outline of synthesizer operation mainly with YAMAHA CS-10. In the late 1970s when this broadcast was in the late 70's, synthesizers with tone color programming function were not common, so in order to study the sound making of synthesizers, to the reference books on the market or promotional materials of musical instrument manufacturers While looking at the set chart of the knob that is being posted it was a standard to follow the steps of making the sound of the waves, making the sound of the wind, making the sound of the steam locomotive ... matching the position of the knob."

"This week more classic sounds from some classic machines as we look at the Roland-based House music of the late 80s and early 90s.

It's about simple chords and melodies and bringing together the right combinations.

Drums: Roland TR-808 (1980)
Bass: Roland TB-303 (1981)
Chords: Roland Juno-6 (1982)
Melody: Roland SH-101 (1982)

Roland Alpha Juno 2 | The best Roland Synth Ever for Espen Kraft

Published on Feb 22, 2019 Espen Kraft

"In 1985 Roland released the last of their analog synths, the Alpha Juno 1 and 2.
Excellent synths that failed to impress the world at the time where everyone wanted digital synths and samplers.
The 5 octave Alpha Juno 2 with velocity and after touch is still my fav master keyboard and I love it dearly.

Sound examples start at 16:57

The lush pads/strings, warm basses perfect for synth-pop, solo leads smooth as butter and a very slow LFO all contributes to my addiction to this synth."

Rossum Electro-Music Trident *FIRST PATCH*

Published on Feb 22, 2019 DivKidVideo

"This was a real highlight of the NAMM 2019 footage (I wasn't there personally) and just the thought of a triple oscillator from Dave Rossum (previously of E-Mu, now Rossum Electro-Music) is enough to be excited about. Trident brings in "zing" modulation which is ring modulation with in sync (that's the key for musical / harmonious tones and less so clangorous ones) oscillators, symmetry and phase modulation options and plenty of control and CV inputs to really animate things. So this was the first patch I made when it when into the case and I just wanted to share that right away to show off some of the raw tones and some patches ideas with dual layer LPG control and a little pepper of FX in the background. Full demo coming around the release."

North Coast Synthesis-Dual VC Octave Switch MSK 008/Unboxing and first impressions

Published on Feb 22, 2019 Dziam Bass

"Today the next module that came from Canada straight from the North Coast Synthesis is the Dual VC Octave Switch MSK 008.

This module is a multifunction voltage processor. The module has two channels, the integer number of volts from -2 to +2; a three-position toggle switch that shifts the quantizer boundaries up or down by a volt; and a precision adder (with optional subtraction function).possibilities really open up. An LFO into the quantified input.Combining the two channels, with or without other utility modules, allows more complex melody-shifting effects. And it does not have to be just for oscillator pitch control. The "mid-side" encoder or decoder. With other patching it can be a flip-flop or a wavefolder. This module is available in a DIY or assembled version. It is also worth taking a look at the reading section because founder Matthew Skala publishes interesting articles in series on modular and the his environment !!!"
