STAR RANGER MICROMAC DEMO

"Here I take the Micromac through the paces, focusing more on the ambient/surreal side of the synthesizer, but there's percussion, bass, leads, FM madness and fx, etc.- something for everyone to enjoy. Everything is 100% Micromac... played by hand or self-generated, sorry for sloppiness at times. I've added reverb, delay, and compression to taste, and I've layered takes in some places; I wanted to provide musical context rather than some alienated melody line. This is by far the most amazing synthesizer I've ever played and I hope this demo reflects a fraction of my awe. Ken Macbeth has created a brilliant product! Hope you enjoy this demo."

"As you may know, this is a rare synth, out of production, and hard to come by. Built like a tank. Solid enclosure and solid controls. No cheap Chinese plastic components here.

These synths are making their way into sought-after vintage instruments. It's a sure investment that you get to enjoy for many years.

Please check out the SoundCloud link I posted in this listing. It's one of the best demonstrations of what this synth sounds like and what I can do. I also posted a link to a YouTube video where Ken MacBeth goes through the all the functions of the Micromac D. I posted Part 1. Be sure to check out Part 2 as well.

This is one of the best sounding synths out there in its category. Please check the several reviews available online."

Published on Jun 6, 2019 pantsofdeath

"I know, I don’t usually post my stuff here, it usually goes over to my music site, but i had a three month block cleared this week by the release of Virtual ANS 3 and I wanted to showcase the otherworldly sounds that come out of that thing. Also on this track is Ruismaker (Bram BOS) and patterning 2."
