Prophet 6 - PolySequencer

Published on Aug 3, 2019 100 Things I Do

"The Prophet 6 is one of those synths, the more you use it the more you find sweet spots and the more you love what it can do.

Today I thought I would play with the PolySequencer. I took a few chords, added some rests then used the rest of the clip to bring flavours in and out.

100% recorded with the Prophet 6 in real time with no external effects besides some limiting and slight EQ at the master stage to keep things sensible :D

Hope you enjoy!"

FelineSynth for iPad

Published on Aug 3, 2019 CatSynth TV

"We explore the FelineSynth, an iPad synthesizer that models cat vocalizations. We also try running it through the Morpheus Z-Plane Filter from Rossum Electro-Music.

Download FelineSynth from the App Store https://apps.apple.com/us/app/feline-...

Find out more about the Morpheus and other modules from Rossum Electro-Music at their website www.rossum-electro.com.

_________
A cat voice generator that calculates sound wave made by the vibration of cat vocal cords modified by the resonance of the vocal tract in real time. (not playbacks of recorded audio)

It can produce various cat voices (like human talking or whispering).

At a glance, this app may look like a musical instrument with a keyboard.

But it is not for the purpose of playing music.

However, you can play music or beautiful chorus composed of cat voices.

Moving your finger horizontally on the keyboard, cat voice pitch rises and falls.

And moving your finger vertically, cat voice pronunciation changes.

Touch the DEMO 1 button on top-left on the screen, it teaches how to make variation.

Slide the metronome on the left and watch the cat eyes flash.

Toggle through the options of voice tone on the right side of the screen.

Minimoog Voyager - Bach: Cello Suite No 1 - Prelude

Published on Aug 3, 2019 SYNTHWAY
Update: Re-Published on Aug 4, 2019

"Had a bit of practice time today's morning and decided to upload a new version of my previous video, posted yesterday with no training. This one is a better rendition to this magnificent music, and I think the Minimoog can translate some of the magical feeling you get from the cello."

---

"My third attempt on this beautiful music, with my favorite instrument. It isn't perfect, but shows how beautifully synthesizers can be used as a mean to play classical music. I think I could do it better, but since I won't have much time to practice and perfect it, this is good enough.

The patch is as you can see on the synth, a single oscillator, with the correct envelopes, gentle modulation.

Thank you for watching!"

Buchla Telemetry Walkthrough

"I love creating interconnected sonic layers in the Buchla 200e system. Here is a brief ambient patch that I call Telemetry. I hope you enjoy this walkthrough. The effects used are the 'choral' setting on a Strymon Big Sky."
