"Happy Nerding FX Aid is able to squeeze 32 effects into a slim 4HP. I was mostly curious to hear how the reverbs sound, especially the ones modelled after the Strymon Big Sky. In this video I give a quick overview of the module, then provide some examples of how it sounds.

01:03 - Intro Overview
03:08 - Using the FX Aid App

Pi Day 2020

Published on Mar 14, 2020 CatSynth TV

"Today we celebrate Pi Day! (3-14, at least in the US)

We particularly enjoy the more esoteric aspects of π, such as its connection to the famous Basel Problem as described in this video. We also use the digits of π to create the music in the background and show how it was put together using Euterpea/Haskell, Pro Tools, and Arturia Pigments with a special 10-note tuning for the digits.

The "Digits" library used to extract the digits of π as a arbitrary-length list of integers in Haskell is available as an open source library https://github.com/catsynth/digits.

Euterpea, the library used to generate and manipulate musical elements in Haskell can be found at http://euterpea.com/"

"In 2018 there was World Football Championship in Russia and several matches were held here in Ekaterinburg . One day one man asked my friend to come to me to see Polivoks and that man was from Costa Rica. I thought he was latinos but I was surprised to see european man more over he was Belgian. He was sound engineer invited to organize sound translation from our arena. Well I show him Polivoks, saw his rounded eyes then he simply took Polivoks in the hotel (it was Saturday) and on Monday he sent to me audio file with the track Putin The Ball that he recorded in the hotel. This Belgian is Jeff Claeys and he is engineer and producer at Elstudio in Costa Rica www.elstudiocr.com and of coarse composer and musician. In this track you hear Polivoks, effects, voice. I like this track. And now this Polivoks lives in this studio among Moogs, Prophets, Hammods and ohers."
