"Blooper Eel is a drone synth kit aimed at people with little or no soldering skill, or people that have soldered lots but that just kinda suck.

"This is acrazy bloopy mind-altering drone synth built using a printed circuit board and a soldering iron. Blinky lights and outrageous sounds help participants learn to solder and build this fantastic bleeping cmos noise synth that boasts four light-controlled pulse -wave oscillators one of witch has sync and two LFOs that modulate the oscillators via LEDs. Its fantastic fun to play with.

Depending on the age and experience of the participants this typically takes 1-2 hours"

"Eighty" with Roland MKS-80, MPG-80, MSQ-700, and Fantom G8

Published on Mar 18, 2020 Machiwoomiapoo

"Today I spent some time with the Roland MKS-80. First I programmed a BASS line into the MSQ-700. I used the MPG-80 to control the tone of the BASS line. Then I used the Fantom G8 to play the STRING harmony, HORNS, and SYNC LEAD. I added some delay on the right channel with the BOSS DW-2w Waza Delay Pedal and some chorus on the left channel with the BOSS CE-2 Chorus Pedal. Thanks for watching! Please stay safe out there. Take care, Sam."

AdamJay - The System Has Failed Us - Live Techno

Published on Mar 18, 2020 Adam Jay

"A statement of frustration with our current global predicament, how our leaders have failed us, and how we must work together to overcome the reckless choices made by those who have abused their power.
I could not sleep last night and had to get this out of my system.

Equipment used:
Elektron Model:Samples , running just three different 556 byte single cycle waveforms from Digitone and Analog Four, used across all 6 tracks. Heavy LFO modulation to synthesize the kick and bass (DN) sounds, and hat (A4), all in the M:S.
Special thanks to Taro for those free single cycle waveforms.
Was a fun experiment in pushing such minimal material to the limits.
M:S output hits an Alesis Micro Limiter and some light Octatrack FX (EQ/Comp) as well. MF Twister just controlling OT bass equalizer."

Neon Captain Radiator New Math

Published on Mar 18, 2020 Neon Captain

"We taught our Radiator Laser Synthesizer some new and dangerous math last night.

The HSV color frequency is being driven by the same LFO that is creating the shape. We can manipulate the shape / speed / effects and even hue and hue width, and the color stays 100% locked with the shape instead of losing the harmonic.

Being able to drive 'one to many' controls from a single LFO and even stack LFO's onto the same control or use one LFO to influence another LFO makes for some really cool effects."

New SYNTHR3 Boutique Modular with Interchangeable Filters by SynthR & oZoe

"Introduce the SYNTHR3 made by Remy Wasselin et Jean-Luc Lartigue.
Prototype N°1
Today discovering the sound and possibilities of this Semi-Modular analog Mono/Paraphonic with 3 VCO + Sub VCO/ 2VCF / 2LFO / 2 VCA / S&H / Noise /Ring Modulator ... and Patch memories ! Arpegiator ! Step Sequencer !(chords or mono). Internal clock or MIDI Clock (as seen in the demo)
Just love it !!!!!!!! "

"SYNTHR3 is a new Boutique modular analog Synthesizer from France with a prewired engine, interchangeable filters, and MIDI control.

The French developer Rémy Wasselin aka SynthR has today introduced the SYNTHR3, a new pre-wired modular analog Synthesizer. The synth is built into a beautiful, compact wooden case with a black faceplate and bluish light buttons.

SYNTHR3 is full analog and can be used in different modes (3-voice paraphonic, 2-voice poly bi-timbral or mono). In full mono (3 oscillators + 1 or 2 filters), paraphonic (3 voices) and duophonic. That’s not all. It also includes an arpeggiator mode with a virtual keyboard split with many possible modes. So VCO 2 can be linked to the arpeggio or free to play. In the sequencer mode, you can memorize the sequences in mono or Para1 mode.

Flexible 3-VCO Design

SYNTHR3 has three analog oscillators, each with different waveforms and modulation options. VCO 1 and 2 outputs triangle, sawtooth and pulse with PW control. VCO 3 includes triangle, reverse sawtooth and square waveforms. The first two oscillators also have dedicated inputs for FM and PWM that can be achieved via LFO1, LFO2, envelope, aftertouch, S&H or VCO2 (cross-mod). Also, you can sync VCO 2 with VCO 1 and apply glide (portamento) to both oscillators.

The third oscillator also includes PWM and frequency modulation via an envelope, aftertouch or LFO2. Further, you have a sub-oscillator with two sub-octaves. Octave -1 outputs triangle, sawtooth, square while octave -2 only square. SYNTHR3 also includes a noise generator (white/pink) and a flexible ring modulator (VCO 1 – 2 and/or VCO3 mixable). All signals come together in the mixer and can be routed independently to VCF 1 or/and VCF2.

Many Legendary Filters In One Synth

The filter section SYNTHR3 offers two filters (VCF) and contains filters from many legendary Synthesizer developers: ARP 4072, SEM, Moog, Steiner, CEM3320, and SI2044. Very exciting is here that all the filters are available and selectable in the Synthesizer. So you can have per example a Moog filter in VCF1 and SEM in the second.
