Gibbon Digital Mutuj 4 Track Live Performance Module

Published on Apr 19, 2020 Gibbon Digital

via Gibbon Digital

"Mutuj is a 4 channel live performance module in the eurorack format. It is perfect for controlling build-ups and drops in your music, on the fly.

Main Features
4 individually controlled inputs of gate or trigger signals
Mute mode
Solo mode
Output levels: 0-5V
10HP Eurorack
+12V: 90mA max
Input impedance: 100K

Inputs are soloed by first pressing the switch positioned on the lower bottom side of the panel (solo switch), the red LED in the middle of the panel will light up indicating that any of the inputs can now be armed to be soloed (pressing the switch again will disable this function and allow muting/unmuting of the inputs normally).
Pressing any of the inputs switch will arm the specific input to be soloed once the solo switch is pressed again; the corresponding LED will turn yellow indicating that the input has been armed. Upon pressing the solo switch again, the armed input will be soloed (unmuted) and the others will be muted.

There are two ways of muting/unmuting an input, this can be selected on startup. To select which method will be used, either press and hold input 1 or input 4 switch before the module is switched on.
The first method allows to mute/unmute the input as soon as the corresponding switch is pressed, the second method will mute/unmute the input after the switch is released."

CTAG TBD meets Lyra 8 and Strämpler as insert fx

Published on Apr 19, 2020 Creative Technologies

"TBD used as stereo insert effect

CTAG TBD as in 'to be determined' is an open source eurorack audio module. All sounds and effects in this video are CTAG TBD, no extra processing! Sorry, some buzz and clicks came from a defect audio cable, it's not TBD.
It can be easily extended by your own DSP algorithms using a flexible c++ plugin architecture.
It's core feature is control of your plugin parameters through a web application UI and WiFi access. You basically log onto your TBD with a browser, choose your active plugin and modify its parameters. You can store patches per plugin. CTAG TBD recalls the last active plugins and patches upon reboot, so you continue making music where you left off.

All source (hw+sw) are available on https://github.com/ctag-fh-kiel/ctag-tbd

More introductory videos will be available on this channel soon, with specific focus on functionalities and how to add your own code.

If you are interested in beta hardware email contact@instrumentsofthings.com subject 'TBD REQUEST'."
