Vintage Kawai R-7 Stereophonic Rhythm Machine

This one was spotted and sent in via M Me.
It appears to be the first one to be featured on the site. It looks more like home stereo equipment than synth gear. Rhythms for lounge parties....
"Kawai R-7, a drumcomputer that due to its look was probably built in the 70s.
It´s obviously an extremely rare species as even long time consuming searches on the internet were unsuccessful.
The R-7 is in a beautiful shape as easily seen on the pics with only minor imperfections on the tolex and the veneer side panels. And the original "Stereo Selector" knob is missing.
After my tests I got the impression that everything works. You can choose between the different rhythms with the white switches or you could simultaneously press several switches for complex rhythms. Individual instruments or instrument groups can be activated or deactivated by the round black switches.
A nice effect is the changing colored backlight (kind of animation) while the rhythms are playing. I have never seen this feature on any other rhythm machine.
Another unusual if not unique feature is the possibility to adjust the left and right volume channel and to switch between mono and stereo - whatever it does."

"Gotharman Little Deformer Mk1 Black Edition Synth Sampler Effects Processor. If you’re reading this, you know what it does. Sounds amazing. Updated with the latest firmware so has the same great stuff as the later Deformers. Only a handful of these were made and very rare in the US.
Mine has some lettering wear to the front panel but works great. Manual and many tutorials online."

"Classic Sequential Circuits Six Trak analogue poly synth.
Each voice based on the highly acclaimed CEM3394 chip with true VCO and 24db filter.
(these chips have been reissued so can cheaply be replaced if it were ever needed)
This synth is in amazing condition with hardly a scratch on her.
This one has been refurbished and has had the following done:
- Flying power lead replaced with a standard IEC connector for convenience
- All rubber contact buttons cleaned to improve performance
- Pots cleaned with switch cleaning fluid
- Dim red leds replaced with more clear blue variant"
Irijule Theoryboard and Ensoniq Fizmo - chord demos
SynthAddict
"Mellow/moody, live jam made from a chord exercise I was doing with the Irjule Theoryboard and the Ensoniq Fizmo."
"Mellow/moody live jam made from a chord exercise I was doing with the Irjule Theoryboard and the Ensoniq Fizmo. Later I added more layers live while mixing the loops to a recorder using Dave Spier’s amazing G-Force Software M-Tron Pro, with his new free Isolation Choir add-on (Covid-19 inspired)."
Note this is the first post to feature the TheoryBoard. The following is an overview video for it:
