Korg DVP-1 Vocoder 1985 | Be Darth Vader!

Espen Kraft

"A somewhat forgotten piece of gear, the Korg DVP-1 is far from perfect, but it can still make some beautiful vocoding sounds. And then some!"

Some details via Strymon:

"Time-Warped Reverberator.
Create vast soundscapes with just a few notes from your instrument. Apply mind-bending pitch and harmonic manipulation to your reverb tails, with synth-like filter sweeps. Enter a world of new sounds that blow away the boundaries of what is possible with reverb. With pioneers and adventurous sonic explorers in mind we created a reverb pedal that can go where none have gone before.

iVCS3 JEC Captivity Auto-Generative Preset

James Edward Cosby

"A single preset from the upcoming JEC iVCS3 Preset Bank release... "Captivity"...

This track was recorded live using only 1 instance of iVCS3 running an automated preset. Initial settings and parameter limits are stored in a preset and by using the awesome APESoft multi parameter LFO's, iVCS3 can be left unattended to produce unique textures ad infinitum..."

Herb Deutsch's Moog SOB (by Synthpro)

synthpro

"Hey Guys,

Here is a little different video for all of you going over Herb's Moog SOB (better known as the Opus 3) and the history of this particular instrument released by moog back in the 80s.

Herb was involved in the design of the Opus 3 and I am very honored to have the opportunity to work on his actual instrument.

(Note: when showing the Chorus schematics I did forget to address that the 2 LFOs are modulating at 20Hz and a 2Hz signal...this is also how you get slow/fast rate based off which LFO is selected. These LFOs are actually modulating the clocking oscillator running at roughly 300kHz to clock the SAD512s....this is that circuit behind where I talk about the sine wave conversion)

Thanks again Herb and to all of you who watch my videos.

Sincerely,
Jareth"

Herb Deutsch's Moog SOB Part 2 (by Synthpro)

"This is the second/final part of the series on Herb's SOB (Opus 3).

This this video, I go over more in depth of the chorus after repairs and a good overview of the features of this instrument to show its 100% working.

Thanks again Herb and to all of you who watch, I greatly appreciate the support.

Jareth"

Sound of: Arturia PolyBrute FX ON / FX BYPASS

Sound Provider

"After my Video about my presets for the Arturia PolyBrute Polyphonic Synthesizer ( [posted here] ) Some people have asked to listen to demos without the 3 digital effects (which are good) to be able to hear the Analog Sound of the synth only to get a better idea of its power.
Here it is!
In this video I load patches randomly, I start to play, I modulate the Morph parameter then I bypass the digital effects to make you listen to the pure analog sound of the preset.
We can realize that PolyBrute sound is super alive even without effect (at least I think so).

Voila

Leonard de Leonard"
