"The Micromonsta is an 8-voice polyphonic desktop synthesizer.

Small, powerful, great sound, usability and easy editing were key elements while designing the Micromonsta.

It features:

8 voices of polyphony

2 oscillators, 1 sub oscillator, 1 multimode filter, 3 envelopes, 3 LFOs, 6 modulation slots, 3 scalers, 1 lag operator per voice

12 oscillator types + 30 (multi-sampled) wavetables (15 factory featuring both evolving sweeps and totally random wavetables + 15 user for your own creations)

8 filter types

Powerful detuning options (both per voice and per oscillator)

Powerful arpeggiator with step pattern editor, slide and accent capable for 303-ish arpeggiated phrases

Deep modulation matrix (with for example filter parameters, envelope or LFO speeds as destination)

A chorder module allowing the generation of 4-note chords within a key/scale

013-The Dreadbox Typhon: More Functions and Modulating Effects

AutomaticGainsay

"Here is a roundup of several not-yet-covered functions, and a basic exploration of modulating effect parameters.

The theme for this demonstration was recorded by multitracking the Dreadbox Typhon over drum patterns fashioned from GarageBand loops."

Curves Filter Bank -Flame Instruments/Primary Oscillator ,ModTools,Micro Sequence-Pittsburgh Modular

Dziam Bass

"Today I have a small demo of the Curves 12 Band Filter Bank & seqencer from Flame instruments and modules like Lifeforms Primary Oscillator, Lifeforms Micro Sequence and Lifeforms Mod tools from Pittsburgh Modular Synthesizers .😀

For this I used Time Wizard from Shakmat Modular , X-4 from Flame as VCA and Dual LFO from nakedboards .
As a delay I added the guitar effect Red Repeat from Carl Martin .

The whole voice is basically from Pittsburgh ,so Sine wave and Timbre out added to INA and INB in Mod tools.
it was used as a mixer 😀, filter sound and fun with LFO when in the Curves filter for a given band I added LFO , and various gates from Time Wizard module , so the sound is moving all the time,

In curves I only used the ODD input and ODD output but you can also use EVEN or ALL and each band its own VCA and also the Audio OUT.🔥😍

it's best to watch the video yourself and take a look at the pages of these modules and check out the cool ECHO modeled on the Vintage sound from the 1950s. 🔥🔥👌

for me, these are great modules and a nice delay effect that I often use in new music recently
All in Rack Brute 6U from Arturia ."

Elektron Analog OS Upgrades: Step Recording

Elektron

"Step Recording comes to the Analogs! Fresh from its splashdown on the Digis, the machines can now input notes into the sequencer step by step. For Analog Rytm users, you can even input multiple tracks simultaneously. On Analog Four, things stay tasty allowing you to input chords per step. Flex the feature’s power to the max by controlling other gear using Midi, CV, and Gate."

Ritual Electronics Anima dual VCO - waves sound overview with Altar Filter

Dziam Bass

"Hello All.
today I have a small waves overview of Anima dual VCO from Ritual Electronics .

I reviewed some waves and pitch in the video so that you could see the power of this oscillator, in the second part I added a small sequence and also the Altar filter from Ritual .🔥🔥👌

Anima is Dual voltage controlled segments generator. AD / ASR envelope, LFO, Digital Oscillator and more.
Anima draws its roots in the “west coast” analog function generators and updates them in the digital realm. This take allows for extremely precise 1V / Oct tracking (10+ octaves) when in cycling mode, and for the control of the rising and falling segments (aka attack and decay) curves without affecting timing + a few more tricks.

The 1V / Oct input turns Anima into a very capable digital dual oscillator - when in cycle mode - with two types of frequency modulation and voltage controlled waveform crossfading. Cross patching is highly recommended for harsh mayhem synthesis!

The Curve parameter goes well beyond the usual Lin / Log control. It morphs smoothly between several curvatures (including the classic log, lin and exp) without affecting the rising and falling times.

For maximum versatility each channel of Anima has an output polarity switch, making it 0 to + 8V in unipolar mode or -5 to 5V in bipolar mode, suitable for audio or bipolar CV generation.

Altar is a voltage controlled 3-pole, 18dB / octave state variable filter.

Altar The configuration of the filter can be smoothly crossfaded from BP to LP to HP. This unusual filter type arrangement brings out very nice harmonics and nuances. It is really suited to CV control. The CV input has an attenuverter. Resonance is under voltage control with attenuverter as well allowing for great timbre modulations. It is particularly useful to recreate accent patterns à la 303. There is a gain at Altar input to beef up your signal which then distort the filter core. The filter tracks 1V / oct for 4-5 octaves and can turn into a very sweet sine oscillator

Thanks for watching and have a nice day!
Cheers."

"Anima is a dual voltage-controlled segments generator. It can be an AD or an ASR enveloppe, an LFO, a Digital Oscillator and even more. Breath life into your modular patches with continuously evolving sonic modulations."
