"Freshly built 73-75 system in a beautiful color scheme for sale. It's pretty much a standard build in random source boats except that it uses the elby jack color scheme, has dark brown knobs and has rca jumpers on the side to have the option to use the spring reverb as an effects send. If you want black knobs it's pretty cheap from thonk. I personally like the brown as it gives the system an organic look. :)

The system has rca jumpers on the side of one of the boats to allow for easy integration of the spring reverb as an effects send. You can choose to connect the spring tank directly to the pcb if you prefer and remove the jumpers. Either way, it sounds and behaves exactly like a standard build. Anyways, not an essential feature but nice to have extra options!

Also, I tried to show a couple places where there are some scuffs on the panel. Overall very clean. There are unused holes in the boat for R*S xlr power connectors that aren't being used with this build.

The connectors are for connecting the 2 panels together to take power from the top panel to the bottom one. The power inlet is at the top of the top panel, and there is a wall wart power supply to power both panels, which I will provide.

This is a great way to get into Serge and sounds incredible. Thanks for looking!"

Vintage Tonic

Magnus Lidström

"We have developed a machine-learning algorithm that generates synth sounds from audio samples. To put this algorithm to the test we created Vintage Tonic: a recreation of ten legendary drum machines for Microtonic.

Read more about it here: https://soniccharge.com/forum/topic/1...

Download the patches from: https://soniccharge.com/download"

Some additional info:

"Vintage Tonic is a patch package for Microtonic created from recordings of the following classic drum machines:

Maestro Rhythm King (1960)
Keio / Korg Minipops 7 (1966)
Roland CR-78 CompuRhythm (1978)
Korg KR-55 (1979)
Roland TR-808 Rhythm Composer (1980)
Oberheim DMX (1981)
Linn Drum (1982)
Roland TR-909 Rhythm Composer (1984)
Roland TR-707 Rhythm Composer (1984)
Roland TR-505 Rhythm Composer (1986)

Notice that the collection includes both analog and digital drum machines. Naturally, the digital drum machines are much harder to reproduce using Microtonic's synthesizer engine, but even imperfect results are fun, and I find the sounds quite useful.

The older drum machines were mainly preset pattern players. I have painstakingly tried to reproduce not only their sounds but also all of their original patterns."

VAI 38 - Two Farfisa Syntorchestras

Vintage Audio Institute Italia

"While we had two of the Farfisa Syntorchestras in the studio we thought it would make sense to make track using both of them.
We're using the transcribe/pitch knob to create the monphonic lead melody harmonies, a surprisingly effective little trick for us amateur players to come off as skilled :).
The Vermona ER9 is an East Germany-made drum machine with individual volumes for each sound.
Here we ran it through a phaser and spring reverb.

We make these videos as a showcase for our studio, for other curious vintage heads - and for fun.
We don't dilly-dally too much with production and mixing but it can sound pretty good with headphones on."

Korg OPSIX Review - Sonic LAB

sonicstate

"The Korg OPSIX has generated a lot of interest as FM synths often do. We want to see if they've made it any easier to understand this generally impenetrable synthesis method. And this is the aim of the OPSIX - bringing the creation and editing of FM sounds into a more understandable and tweakable package."
