"In this patch I tried to emulate a TB303 style filter on the 100M. This meant splitting the signal into two paths, one of which used a normal LPF with envelope, and the other used a second LPF which was then heavily distorted (by overdriving a VCA). I had to use an HPF to limit the frequency of the distorted path so the distortion wasn't over the whole spectrum, just the bit around the cutoff frequency of the LPF

I also currently have possession of John Foxx's TR909 - the first time one has been in the studio, EVER!"

Three K2600r's and one E-MU 6400 are listed along with some other gear. No idea if they are legit, but thought it was intreresting if so. All three K2600r listings apear to have the same pics with SN S4805B5N0315. The E-MU 6400 has an SN of 060001679.

"Any true Axl fan knows that he loves his Kurzweil Synth modules. We are stil using them today to model his sounds and samples in some of your favorite songs. This older Kurzweil Synth module was used from 1999-2009 in-studio, as well as on the Chinese Democracy tour. Who knows what familiar sounds a piano samples you will find inside. Expansion disks are also very easy to find on eBay."

Sequential Artist Spotlight: Dräger

"Dräger is the ethos of Spencer Draeger’s dystopian modern era. With his hand on the pulse of a generation saturated in anxiety and melancholia, part satirical, part sarcastic but overall playful—Dräger takes a light hand to the heavy themes of technology, love and society at the precipice of a new world. Atwood Magazine states, “…his new dynamic sound is an ingenious blend of old and new inspirations: the driving rhythms of late 70s punk, synth heavy pop of the 80s, and the druggy, electronic compositions of modern psych-pop.” He uses sounds of the past to talk about the future.

With only a handful of singles out on Cell Vision, owned and operated by dance punk Mattie Safer of the Rapture and Poolside, his debut album Goths à la Discothèque is set to release this spring on Brooklyn's Trash Casual.
