"This unit was meticulously refurbished. The work required (8 hours of skilled vintage synth tech labor + parts) to properly restore these so they're working as well as possible and hopefully stay that way long into the future is both time consuming and costly and adds great value to this item. This is of course reflected in its higher than usual price. You will not find a better one anywhere.

In addition to any repairs, we did the following to this unit:
All sliders cleaned and lubed.
Power supply recapped, trim pots replaced.
Tantalum capacitors replaced.
Unit disassembled and cleaned inside and out.
Replaced 4 diodes.
Cleaned all jacks.
Recalibrated."

Fully disassembled, cleaned inside and out, meticulously serviced over 26 hours, sparing no expense, to be better than others you may see on the market and working exactly the way you'll want it to, unlike most. The wooden case was refinished as well. The time quoted above does not require the refinishing time. In addition to considerable tech fees, we paid a furniture restorer another $500 for the refinishing of the case."
