Testing Waldorf M

video upload by Konrad Paulsen

"Yesterday i got this beauty, today i had a few hours to testdrive it for the first time. I never had a Microwave formerly, so this is my fresh take on this classic remake by Waldorf.
I already love this synth."

Kitaro 喜多郎 - Wings 翼 Cover

video upload by ltpstan

"Initially, I was inspired by the live version of 'Wings', in how Kitaro managed to improvise throughout the whole piece live amazes me when I listened for the first time. Now, this project have been left for awhile which I wanted to do for a long time, now I feel it is the right time to release it together with the improvisation. In the end, it came out quite nicely, enjoy it! Thank you!

ps: I am arranging my set up and anticipating the new miniKORG700FS (late August) to be put up above the Korg 800DV. That's why the Juno106 is at the other rack."

This one was spotted and sent in via Soviet Space Child.

And a couple more:

Kitaro 喜多郎 - Magical Sand Dance 神秘なる砂の舞 Cover

"Another great song by Kitaro.
This rendition is between the different live versions. It includes a break in between for the continous rhythm.
This is also one of my favourites. Glad to make it into a cover.
This will be the last cover for the year as things will get busy.

Produced on Logic Pro X
Leads: Korg 800DV & Juno 106
Drums: Logic Pro X
Synth Bass: Logic Pro X
Strings: Logic Pro X
Choir: Logic Pro X
Guitar: Logic Pro X"

Kitaro 喜多郎 - Free Flight 飛翔 Cover

"I always like the 'Live in Yakushiji' version of 'Free Flight'. This version has an epic ending.
This time, I tried to attempt a short version of this song.
Most of the sounds are from the Korg 01/W: Animotion pad (combi), Choir.

There was a slight fumbling in-between the changing of sounds (800DV to 700S Square) but I did not want to cut off the video as I wanted to retain all in one shot.

Fun Fact: This Korg 800DV was one of the earlier units produced from my research. Also, the later units have the smaller logo at the right instead of the larger one, at the left side. This units does not have the Pedal connector input (VCF FK-1) like the later production units."

Bleep Bloop 2000 Overview and Demo

video upload by Patchwerks Seattle

"In this video Matthew Piecora (aka EZBOT ) of Patchwerks shows off the new Bleep Bloop 2000 by Tim Held and After later Audio.

Bleep Bloop 2000, or BB2k is a collaboration between Tim Held of Podular Modcast and After Later Audio. What started as a joke-module made by Tim’s friend Jenny has now actualized into real-life. What is it? Why is it? These are all questions we are still asking ourselves. All we know is we love it.

BB2k can be used as a four-voice oscillator or a quirky CV-source. It was designed to inspire experimentation and creative patching. While it appears simple at face-value, it is actually quite versatile. BB2k is able to get into glitchy rhythm generation, haunting drones and outrageous control voltage over any parameter the user wishes. Just power it on and start exploring!

CXM1978 for SYNTH // 0-9 Presets with Sequential PRO3 + Elektron DIGITONE & DIGITAKT

video upload by Dexba

'Hello everyone! Feels like this is my first video, like, the first PROPER video, mostly because I am showing myself on camera and also because I want to get step by step closer to more complex or even "useful" videos :)
In this video, I wanted to show you the Chase Bliss and Meris lovechild, the CXM1978, a pedal that pays homage to the legendary Lexicon 224.
There are many videos here on YouTube discussing the price, the usefulness, or even how it compares to the real one or the UAD plugins, but I haven't found any video about how this thing sounds in many different situations, settings, (electronic) instruments.
So here we go, I did one myself, with what I think is a bit of a representative sound palette you could find in your music productions, but more will come in the future since I think this one's a keeper.
Thank you a lot for all your support, never thought I would get to 1.000 subs, and that's also a great encouragement to keep doing stuff and get better at it!

Chapters:
0:00 - Quick intro
2:04 - [Sequential PRO3] Pluck
3:49 - [Sequential PRO3] "Prophet like" Pad
11:51 - [Elektron Digitone] "Vangelis like" Pad
15:32 - [Elektron Digitone] FM Pluck
20:21 - [Elektron Digitakt] Drums
22:03 - [Elektron Digitakt] Vocal sample
23:53 - [Elektron Digitakt] Ambient house (?) Jam"
