Hydrasynth Deluxe 73 Key Synthesizer Sonic Lab Review

video upload by sonicstate

"We take a look at the new Ashun Sound Machines Hydrasynth Deluxe. The new model, announced just before Superbooth 21, doubles the voice count - either 16 voices in single sound mode or two complete 8 voice Hydrasynth Engines for split or layer. Each layer has a dedicated stereo audio output pair, and the Polytouch polyphonic after touch keybed gets enlarged to 73 keys.
Its a whopper.
Available priced at 1499 UK and $1799

Introducing the Emthree PFV3

video upload by Vintage Audio Institute Italia

This appears to be the first demo of one on the site. One went up for sale back in 2016.

"Amazingly rare, battery run formant filter, or rather EQ, machine produced in Italy by Emthree, formerly Meazzi, probably in the early 1980s.
It has two modes:
1. Full on engage of three filters / EQ settings / Vowels by pressing the buttons.
2. Gradual engage by using the three potentiometers.

The two modes cannot be engaged simultaneously.

Vintage Audio Institute is a gear vendor and recording studio in the hills of Florence, Italy.
Thanks for watching."

See thee EMthree label below for more of their products.

"In its day, the K5000 was Kawai’s flagship synth. 1997 saw the rack version released which features digital additive synthesis plus PCM samples, arpeggiator and onboard effects. It can be programmed much like a standard VCO subtractive synth or just use the PCM samples, however, it gets very interesting when delving in to the world of additive synthesis. Look at some of the youtube videos for examples.

Additional Features:
Memory upgraded - this doubles the preset storage available with additional banks "E" and "F". On the K5000, preset size is a movable beast; the more complex the preset, the more storage memory is required to save it. The memory upgrade allows storage of many more presets.

Latest OS 4.04 loaded."

"This is the much hyped handheld synth by Oliver Wittchow, who created the Nanoloop software for the original Nintendo Gameboy. This was his first physical synth product, based around the original Nanoloop sound and software.

It was a successful Kickstarter campaign. More info can be seen here"

LED Matrix sync with DIY modular Synthesizer - [YMNK's DIY synths adventures]

video upload by YMNK

"This is a really small demo about something I've been working on the past few weeks.
This is 16*64 programmable LED matrix that can be synced by CV Gate or by MIDI.

The entire display contains 2x 16*32 LED matrix from Adafruit ( https://www.adafruit.com/product/420 ), 2 Arduino Unos and some electronic to make all this mess understanding CV gate or MIDI messages.

The images/animations have been hardcoded by myself on the arduinos (the code is here : https://github.com/alexiszbik/liveled... ... but I still have to add the schematics ...) ... and it is really difficult to fit a lot of animations in such a tiny memory. But it is a nice challenge!

I use the display for my third official gig as YMNK in Roubaix, France at La Condition Publique. Everything worked perfectly so, I'm very happy about it! Still I want to make more animation now! I've some videos, I should probably upload them in the next few days!"
