Steve Reich "Clapping Music" but its a Modular Synth!

video upload by

"The original composition featured two performers clapping the same phrase, with one performer adding a beat every 8 measures, thereby generating new rhythms. In this case the two performers are my modular synth and Roland TR8 drum machine. A clock divider is used to add beats and shift the rhythm. And...I've added other elements to spice it up, completely defeating the minimalist nature of the original :("

Waldorf Microwave XT Non Nextel Orange w/ Board #3 & ALPS Knobs

"This is the desired and more rare non-Nextel coated version. Most Microwave XT versions have the shitty Nextel surface coating that decays very naughty (gets sticky, flaky, dirty and grey-ish) over time and this can't be fixed anymore. The surface on the edition listed keeps the strong orange colour. Also the total decaying original knobs are replaced for Waldorf Q knobs, they look better and don't fall apart over time. So this XT is ready for the future.

Display is perfect!
Comes with the original manual (with the famous pink XT-cover, missing back plastic)
Latest version produced so comes with Board #3, needed for upgrade to 30 voices!"

"The CS15D is a three-octave monosynth that has 29 preset sounds, as well as the ability to dial in your own program. It has a single VCO, and a 2-pole low-pass filter with a dedicated envelope. The ability to blend between the dual channels and detune the second channel add to its warmth and character."

"Nearly Mint in condition, pics show the finish has very little wear with only a couple light dots & scratches (barely visible) to paint, and better than new cosmetically with brand new American Walnut wood sides to replace the crappy particle board.

No corrosion or rust, and the synth was recently pro serviced (service records available upon request).

The pictures speak for themselves this is a great looking synth, with lots of LED feedback. It benefits from having lots of onboard features like EQ filter bank.

It has very snappy envelopes for a mono/duophonic synth, and its built extremely well, with a steel chassis, and ow walnut sides, especially when compared to something like it's progenitor the ARP Odyssey."
