Never heard of that one before, thanks Matrix!
ReplyDeleteFor those not in the know, Amdek was Boss's Kit Division. A few different things were available as kits, and the instructions were in Electronics & Music Maker magazine in the UK. I don't know if they ever came out in the US of A.
ReplyDeleteLOL Annoying sounds! Sweet
ReplyDeletei wish i could hear it triggered by something other then a lfo...like an actual alternating beat....but still really awesome video, thanks for sharing, i'd love to build one someday
ReplyDeleteAmdek came before Boss and were available in the US through Roland's early distributor, BMI (Beckman Musical Instruments.)
ReplyDeleteAmdek was best known for their video monitor line which had nothing to do with Roland.
Rebadged as a Boss PC-2, right? Or vice-versa, even.
ReplyDeleteit does have exactly the same functions as a pc2 but sounds quite different.
ReplyDeleteit seems the range on this one is broader, can't get any bassdrumsounds out of my pc2 either.
the pc2 does have it's own unique sound though and I don't think I'd trade it for the amdek.
