ReplyDeleteI have one and won't part with it for buckets of money. Hex means one osc. per string. They sound kinda squirmy with six osc all moving in and out of pitch when you strum.

Hex fuzz is 6 distortions, one on each string.
Hex pickup is 6 individually wired pickups.
Bill Gates would die laughing knowing his workers don't know what hex is.
Hexaphonic Pickups have been around since the 70's
ReplyDeleteThe 300 synth blows all the new Roland guitar synths out of the water when it comes to the sound and the tracking. HOWEVER...
ReplyDeleteThe tuning of these things never ceases and playing one live is a bit like riding in a shopping cart down a hill while naked... but in a good way I suppose.
