I have this machine, and I haven't figured out how to load the DX7 patches yet. The cool thing is that it has an excellent computer programming interface w/ it.
Yes, it loads Dx7 patches, and they sounds pretty good, but, not exactly the same. In particular, patches that are "tricky", such as operator levels that are set precisely to garner certain effects from the feedback loop will not work correctly. However, that said, you have the same problems loading Dx7 patches into a Dx7s, Dx7II or a Tx802 (for FM7 for that matter).
