As far as Edgar Froese is concerned, he used his system on stage during parts of TD's 1980 and 1981 tours.

I observed a strange thing as I viewed again the Sobornost clip: the surrounding plates that housing the two screens have a different darker color than the one pictured here which looks like it is beige. Is this really Edgar's system?
