  2. It's not a TX81Z. It's a TX816. The card cage could any number of modules, and Yamaha sold two variations as standard configurations; a unit loaded with two modules (called a TX216) and one fully loaded with eight (called a TX816). Chick Corea made good use of the rig in the time of the first Elektrik Band records. There was a great live show on PBS at the time that showed him doing killer stacked leads from a KX88 master keyboard. i have the original brochure around somewhere if someone wants to nag me to scan it...
