  1. Looks like another 'performance feature' is an external DC power supply.

    And, yes, they're raping the Juno name, but this is Roland's right to do so. Market conditions being what they are, stage/performance synthesizers are about the only hardware keyboard market remaining.

    All synthesis innovation today is in software.

  2. I'm wondering why aftertouch seems superflous to manufacturers these days?

    On a "stage" controller, with both hands busy I think it would be very helpful indeed for bringing in vibratto, controlling filter cutoff, turning rotating speaker sim on/off and any number of useful things.
