ReplyDeleteI actually like the video and the music and if you think it was sexist because it had a few girls in bikinis intermixed with jumping dolphins and city lights I think you probably don't understand the meaning of sexism.
To me sexism is the woman who works in the office doing the same work as a man for less pay and is always the one called upon to "fetch" coffee.
I will never grow tired of admiring beautiful women and although this isn't my kind of music I thought he did a fine job and it showcased what a fine synth the Yamaha is.
I guess if he had used a massive modular system with the sequencer continuously playing the same 8 bar part it would be wonderful!
Lighten up folks, get on the floor and dance dance dance.:)
As you can see i deleted the song and started working on it. Sec. version now on youtube. Lowered the tempo, deleted some melodies and added some sounds.
ReplyDeleteHowever, dont judge someone on one piece of music you heard. I do have other stuff made you know, classic, softtrance, club etc. Maybe you like some of the others. And I dont have the perfect material, its just an mo6 standard. Want a motif xs, maybe next year, still a bit expensive. I'm just an amateur that loves making music in different kind of styles, this song was made in between, a standard trance song, and i agree it needed some work.
But if you dont like the music thats fine by me, no problem. But why does it have to be that agressive like calling it 'retarded' or 'sexist'. Keep it friendly. And i cant help it that someone from matrixsynth embedded the song...
And Sexism!? Now that was a funny joke! Most times cars and woman are a great combination, but next time i'll putt some nons in it. ;-)
