obama angst
via Baghead's sounds channel
"two Kjaerhaus Spectra soft synths one with AD replicant the other woth AD Dubstation against arturia moog modular low end woth Ableton reverb , all with a military drumbeat from Puremagnetik purplekit tweked with audio damage Automaton - not a finished song more of a mood for some one to add on to"
"I kind of thought it has a Twin Peaks feel to it of you remember that show , oh Lara where is the Log Lady???? if you can't tell I'm worried that sleeze McCain is gonna win, what a tragedy if that occurs... also because of the abrupt ending it works better as a loop , but then maybe that is part of the angst, i.e an abrupt ending"
BTW, what's up with Texas?

McCain a sleeze? I think you'd better do your research on Obama... which the US main stream media certainly has tried to cover up. Obama can't be honest about who he really is to get elected. Obama is the reverend Wright, Bill Ayers and the other Marxist- Stalinist that he "carefully" choose to be his friends. Honestly, I'm not that fond of McCain either but at least he's not going to tax us into poverty.
ReplyDeleteArgh! This is a Blog for synthesizers and electronic music. No one is interested in your particular view of politics. There are numerous ourlets for that on the internet, I assure you, no need to pollute this particular channel.
ReplyDeleteSo shut up and GTFO!
outlets, damn it
ReplyDeletewell it is about synths, and instead of images of booty shaking lithe synth babes dancing in your head I just happen to think that the sounds in this piece captured a looming sense of dread or foreboding of opportunity just missed , your sense or source of dread may vary quite a bit from mine, i.e. if you find Obama a source of angst well then listen to the piece from a different space, although on a side note I openly invite anybody to demonstrate to me with a straight face how McCain's robo-call red-baiting smear campaign was anything but sleezy
ReplyDeleteBrian,
ReplyDeleteDon't worry McCain doesn't have a chance. The media makes it look close because it's good for ratings. I'm not voting for either of the single business party candidates, btw.
