  1. anyone know what's playnign that moogy sounding lead that come in and out? it doesn't seem to be the mini, since he's never playing it when the sound happens....

  3. This performance is from a Spanish TV program called Musical Express which was originally shown back in May 1981.

    I believe the lead parts come from Vangelis' CS-80 except for the oboe-like melody towards the end which appears to be played by Michael Huygen on a Roland SH-1000 (below the Minimoog).

    Besides the CS-80 and System 100, Vangelis also has a Yamaha CS-40M on his right-hand side but I'm not sure whether he uses it during this performance.

    Visible in the background are an Arp 2500 (Raphael Preston's synth) and an Oberheim 2-voice.
