One Of The First Vocoder Machine

That's technically a voder, not a vocoder. A vocoder does crude analysis on fixed frequency bands, and imposes the envelopes on the frequency band of another sound.
ReplyDeleteA voder is more like a synthesizer of speech. The operator plays the parts of speech with various keys and levers.
Unfortunately, wikipedia is not your friend here. Google helped though: Here's a block diagram of a voder, from this page that has more information.
