The LinnDrum MIDI mod allows your LinnDrum to send and receive MIDI information whenever drums are played. It also generates or syncs to MIDI clock and handles MIDI start, stop, continue and song position pointer. In addition, the mod supports MIDI disk drive saves and loads.

Setup mode:
Set the Setup switch on the MIDI interface to ON position. Now, pressing down on any of the drum buttons will display the note value that is assigned to that drum. While holding the drum button down, press Right arrow button to increment or the Left arrow to decrement the note value.

Note that on power down, the note assignments will revert back to the factory default settings.

To Slave the LinnDrum to MIDI Clock and Song Pointer:
Set the Sync switch on the MIDI interface to the on position. The LinnDrum will now follow MIDI Clock and Song Pointer. You may also offset the Sync (advance or delay the LinnDrum). Set the Setup switch to the ON position. While holding the Tempo button down, press the Right arrow button to advance the LinnDrum so that it plays ahead of the beat compared to the master in any increment from 1 to 8. Pressing the Left arrow will make the LinnDrum to be behind the beat.

The LinnDrum will send MIDI Clock out (Master) while in normal play mode.

Note that on power down, the Sync offset values will revert back to the factory default setting of 0.

2 To set MIDI channel, set the dip switches on the Midi interface board as follows:
