I have Yamaha G10 +G10C!!! $))
ReplyDeletei was recently gifted a g10, g10c and the proper impossible to find cable. all minty fresh in great shape... but the battery in the g10 was dead. i figured in for a dollar,... opened it up, and replaced it. its a coin cell cr2032, but has leads tacked onto it that solder into the board. i replaced it with a new battery and a normal coin cell holder, and fired it up.
ReplyDeletestill says no battery and will not let me do anything with it... is this puppy bricked?
anyone know if there is a factory reset procedure for the g10c? i can't seem to find any in the manual for this thing. i'd LOVE to get it running, but i'm hearing that with a lot of this older tech, once the battery goes completely there's no way to get 'em alive again...which would suck.
any advice appreciated. if i can't resurrect this poor beast, i guess it will be going off to the great bay on the net so someone hopefully smarter/luckier than i can sus it out.
thanks, peeps...
peace
I just get on C10 and the g10c, Most likely i'll adapt to be used with a DB25 printer cable
