ALISA 1387 - analog Synthesizer from Russia - Amazing Filter and FM! by Darth NoiseLab

"Some testing with the amazing ALISA 1387 synthesizer, monophonic and fully analog, this beast is capable of some weird sounds, basses, effects, drones. It's not warm like a moog or other western or japanese synthesizers, it's harsh, sometimes brutal, syncing the 2nd OSC to the 1st is a real sharp weapon, as is the crazy filter, however somewhat less squeezing as the one on the POLIVOKS/POLYVOX.

NO ADDITIONAL EFFECTS, recorded from an eden bassamp into an IPhone

Here's the best: The ALISA 1387 comes with CV/GATE in/out on bord, just need to find an DIN-to-whatever adapter. As far as I know, it's the only russian analog synth having these built in. This makes it really really great !! Driven by a DOEPFER MAQ 16/3 in this case.

Above all it seems the ALISA 1387 is less prone to fail or broke of it's case, as the Polivoks and the Altair 231 tend to do (at least ours did). Most amateurs of russian synthesizers tend to declare the POLIVOKS, sometimes the AELITA as the best sounding vintage USSR synth. Both are often called the russian Minimoog, wich is clearly wrong, no one come close, but the ALTIR 231/ESTRADIN 230 (both have identical schematics) are clearly the candidates, as they have very similar schematics to the moog and are obviously a try to copy the king of synthesizers, without sounding like a MINIMOOG of course.

So in my view the ALISA 1387 formerly built in the Lyuberetskiy factory (1989 or the one presented), is clearly the most underrated and a unique sounding vintage soviet synth. It's pretty rare however, but still sold cheaper than other russian synthesizers...

Be the synthforce with you, Darth NoiseLab"
