Wersi Pianostar T2000, Vintage Analog Synthesizer

Details in German followed by Googlish below. Note this is the first Pianostar T2000 demo on MATRIXSYNTH. The Pianostar was only briefly mentioned in two previous posts. One on Peter Forest's A-Z of Analogue Synthsizers here, and one on a brochure for the Wersi Condor DX100 here.

"Das Wersi Pianostar aus den 70ern sieht nicht nur unverschämt gut aus, fast wie ein Rhodes eben, sonder unter der Haube verbirgt sich eine voll analoge Klangerzeugung á la Wersistar. Das gute Stück einfach als E-Piano zu bezeichnen wird ihm also absolut nicht gerecht.

Die Presets:
Acht mischbare Timbres besitzt das Pianostar, diese lassen sich über eine Poti in harmonischen Schritten "detunen" was den Klängen schöne Schwebungen oder definierte Intervalle dank zweier Kanäle gibt.
Was Wersi bei Pianostar den "Slalom" Fader nennt entpuppt sich als Ocaveshifter/Bender.

Die "Schrauber-Section":
Mit Octaven-Koppler, VCF, LFO, Vibrato und VCF-Tracking kommt hier richtig Freude auf! Das Filter kann schmatzen und knarzen das man spätestens jetzt das Typenschild "Pianostar" verdutzt anschaut. Der Klang ist dabei wirklich sehr eigenständig und klingt keinesfalls nach "Tischhupe".

Wer also auf der suche nach unverbrauchten Synthetischen Klänge ist sollte sich das Teil man anschauen!

Die Klaviatur ist ebenfalls erste Sahne, sie ist Anschlagsdynamisch und lässt sich sogar über einen Schalter elektrisch in der Härte verstellen, von hart wie in etwa bei einem Klavier bis weich wie bei einer Orgel.

Das Pianostar ist äußerlich wie innerlich sehr gepflegt, die Chrombeine sind dabei, die Transporttasche für die Beine (hier ist der Reissverschluss kaputt) und Das Fußpedal! Über dieses lassen sich im "Hawaii-Modus" Slides der Tonhöhe machen.

Gebrauchsanleitung und Service-Manual sind ebenfalls enthalten!
