I messed around with a Syrinx back in April. I have two questions.
ReplyDelete1) What is the big freakin' deal? What makes it so special? It was weird and exotic, but doesn't seem like anything you can't get from a Pro One otherwise. I will admit that I only got to spend a few minutes twiddling it.
2) Is it named after the Rush tune, or vice-versa? :-)
It's the filters. Three VCFs that can be patched in four different ways. You can get crazy vocal sounds out of it.
