    The junkyard sampling session is neat to see, especially since most modern musicians seem to use their softsamplers merely as playback devices.

    By the way, Real World recently held a competition to remix "Shock the Monkey" from this era. They released a set of samples, and you can hear the 700+ submissions online: http://www.realworldremixed.com/hotpicks.php
