Title link takes you to the archived site on web.archive.org. The site itself is gone. Makes you wonder how many other synth resource sites have gone to limbo. Fortunately web archives saves some of it for us. One of the reasons why I chose Blogger for Matrixsynth was because it is owned by Google and it runs on the Blogger servers, not my server. I don't have to deal with performance issues, costs (it's free!), and most importantly, the site will live on long after I'm gone.

ReplyDeleteHoly shit that is my website! It was up for 5 years. The only reason it's not up is because I lost some of the source files...well maybe there's hope.
ReplyDeletewow. It looks like the few pieces of content I had lost are all there. The site went down in May of 2006 after my web hosting copmany web belly up and I didn't have sufficient backups of the entire site. I always got a lot of hits becuase of all the sites linking to it. I still own the same domain so I will work on putting it back up to the same URL.
ReplyDelete(Probably the best piece of information I had there aside from general info was an incredible hi-res scan of the service manual. I had the document control people at work scan it on one of those huge industrial scanners back in '99)...
