noiseprofessor's Oberheim Xpander Demo
"Moody demosong made with an Oberheim Xpander only. Recorded with multitracker to show off the possibilities for doing percussive sounds, which is often said that the Xpander can`t do this. Sure used some Delay in mixing process. Note: Even the drums & percussions are made with this synth."

ReplyDeletei think the guys who complain about the envelopes of the expander do need some granular stuff. ultra-fast klicking envs... i dont think that they say percussion sounds cant be done.. at least i meant, i got an expander too, and it works quite goot for perc sounds... but NOT so gut for clicks and glitch sounds...
i love my xpander anyway... thinking about a matrix12 though... want MORE voices! :)
